What a FUN past two weeks we have had! We have really enjoyed looking at all of the sweet pictures that have been sent in for our "Hot Hubby" Contest and reading about why our readers love their husbands. :) All of YOU helped narrow it down to our top two on Facebook by voting for your favorite. We then emailed the top two finalists yesterday and asked them to tell us why they felt that their spouse was the most deserving. Ummm.....we really struggled with...Continue Reading

My husband took the challenge (that I gave him) of reading this book, How to Date Your Wife, By Stan Cronin.
Here is my husband's review of the book:
Stan Cronin, the author, should be commended for writing this book. Most marriage book authors have a background or doctorate in psychology. Stan's background is years of experience being a cop. Through his career he dealt with many family disputes and saw failing marriages. He wrote this book as a result of ...
Have you ever been out all day long, shopping, running errands, etc... All of a sudden you have a big urge to surprise your husband after work with a last minute week day date night or lunch just to realize that you kind of smell stinky and you don't have time to run home to get ready before his work day ends? Or maybe you were out for Date Night and chose a restaurant that left you with raging garlic breath, and now what's a couple to do?!?!?
I'm going to...
Father's Day is just around the corner and we are all looking for something to give the Father in our lives to let them know how much we love them. We found the cutest craft on Eighteen 25 which would be a great gift to give. They even included a download to help you re-create the cute tin. Want even better news?? It can be done in less then 30 minutes! I actually made one to include with my husband's gift for Father's Day and I let my daughter take over the project...Continue Reading
My bedroom is always adorned with a bouquet of fresh flowers, rose petals strewn about just like in a fantasy suite, and there is never EVER a pile of dirty clothes spilling over the laundry hamper.

I am a lover of movies and of Ryan Reynolds. Needless to say that I have been counting down the days to the opening of "The Green Lantern". I wanted it to be more than "get -a-sitter-see-a-movie" date. So, true to my naturally semi-manic SAHM personality, "The Green Lantern" date was born. You will just love me for this, I know it.
Inspiration: I have always loved the whole Marvel Comics series,...Continue Reading
It is always so fun to get to talk about your hubby, right? Today I get to talk about mine! Sometimes the week gets away from you (or the month) and you forget to plan date night. WELL, my month was kinda like that, very busy, and I let date night get away from me. It was Friday night and just like every night my husband was almost home from work. I just expected the Friday norm, something like pizza and a kid's movie at home. All of a sudden in walks my Mother-in-law!...Continue Reading

I happened to be at Costco the day before Mother's Day and saw a lot of men buying flowers. It made me think about how much women love flowers. I decided with Father's Day right around the corner I would make my husband his very own bouquet.... minus the flowers. I went to the store and purchased ten of his favorite candy bars, gum, etc.
I then taped each candy to a long sucker stick I found at a craft store. I then placed all the candy in tissue paper...Continue Reading
