I LOVE

I am a big fan of the website, Oopsey Daisy Blog. My good friend Alison is always creating something splendid! I knew when I came across her fabulous idea of I LOVE U... I just had to share!

I thought my spouse would love this quick and easy love note! I am thinking of hiding it in his suitcase when he travels next week.

I also love that this is a free printable that can be ready within minutes! Check out Alison's post here!

So grab some white paper...

Gratitude

Several years ago, I was watching an episode of Oprah (BTW...I really miss her). The entire episode was on having gratitude in our daily lives. Oprah talked about keeping a regular journal solely about "being grateful."  I immediately tried this idea and soon found that I LOVED it. Each week (about 2- 3 times), I would take 5 minutes and quickly jot down ten things I was thankful for. At first, I had to stop and really think. However, after doing this for a few weeks...

The Princess

I think one of the first movie's I remember seeing about L O V E was the movie, The Princess Bride. I could watch this movie over and over again. It has every element I love in a good movie.... romance, action and an interesting story. So for a date night at home, we are here with a few ideas to help make this movie experience extraordinary!  This movie is an oldie, but it is still a goody!

A quick summary about the movie from IMDB...

Let Me Shower You With

Corie-AprilShowers-Pinterest

We all know the old saying, "April showers bring May flowers."  So, why not shower you spouse with LOVE this month?  All you need to do is buy some of your spouse's favorite shower products and place them in a bucket. Finally, place a tag on the bucket and you're ready!  It seems like my husband is always running out of these supplies, so it will be nice to have a full set of products on hand. (BTW...be sure to check out coupons for most of these products...I...

Easter Egg

Corie-EasterEggBedroomNotes-Pinterest

I never know what to get my husband for Easter. This year, however, I found a fun little idea that can be ready within minutes!  While on Pinterest, I stumbled across a simply fabulous idea from Happy Home Fairy. She created Easter egg notes to put in her husband's Easter eggs. It is inspired me to make some of my own.

These are pretty cheesy, but would defintely make for a little fun in the bedroom.  You can even add a little candy to make these even sweeter!...

I “Cerealsy”

Each night before I go to bed, I lay out my husband's breakfast. I put a box of his favorite cereal out with a spoon, bowl and a piece of fruit. I know, it is a long ways from June Clever, but it works for us. I decided his breakfast needed a little bit more  L O V E.  So, I created a tag, I "Cerealsy" Love You and attached it to his favorite cereal box.

Surprise your spouse with their favorite cereal by downloading the tag, I "Cerealsy" Love You!
My husband...

Family

Corie-FamilyDateNight-Pinterest

I love to go on dates with my husband, however, I also love to have Family Date Night!  We try to do this at least once a month.  My kids will do or help with just about anything to earn this special night.

At the beginning of the week, I give each child an envelope. Then, they get to decorate and write their name on the envelope. This envelope is like a wallet. Throughout the week, I give my kids tickets each time they are helpful or do their chores.

Once...
