Little Things

My husband, Jared, is pretty much amazing!  He has such a unique way of making me feel loved!
We have been married just under ten years and I have found that the smallest act of kindness from him.... ...mean the most to me.

Shortly after we were married,  I noticed a glass of water next to my bed on the nightstand each night.  Jared may think it is no big deal, but it is such a random act of thoughtfulness that I appreciate each night before bed.

The Spouse

Remember your very first sleepover? I sure do! I wore Hello Kitty pajamas and had a bright pink sleeping bag. Sleepovers use to be the ultimate reward for me.

It made me start to think… "Why not have a sleepover with my spouse?" Oh, I couldn’t wait to get this date started! I knew this date would work because it did not require a babysitter and would be inexpensive!

Each night before my children go to bed, my husband and I take about 20 minutes to read stories as a family.  This has become one of the greatest and easiest traditions that we have done.  It doesn't...

A Couple’s Journal

DIY couples love journal.

Whenever I find an extra second in the day, I love to jot down little or big events or experiences in a journal.  Journals are such an amazing way to keep memories alive!  I keep both a personal and family journal.  I have so much fun reading through the history of my life.  It is incredible how many little things you can forget over time.

Keeping in the spirit of journals, I wanted to start one with my spouse.  I call this type of a journal...a COUPLE'S...

The Power of an Invitation

The power of an invitation.

Think back for a minute...to the first time you ever received an invitation.  This invitation may have been to a birthday party, some type of celebration, or a special event.  Can you recall the feelings you had upon receiving something that was specifically created for you?  I still remember the time I was invited to a neighbor's birthday party when I was six.  Oh, I was so excited!  I kept the invitation on my mirror and each morning and night, I would...
