Easter Egg Countdown

Normally we don’t post on Sunday but we found a super cute idea to count down to Easter. Eighteen25 did an amazing job with this post and we wanted to share it with you. All you have to do is get some plastic Easter eggs and rub on some numbers or you can write them on with a sharpie. (That is for the countdown.) Then you fill the eggs and the whole family can enjoy, as you get ready for Easter. You could even take it a step further, and write kind notes to put in each egg to read along with the treat. But I know I am going to put this cute idea together for my family to enjoy.

What fun traditions do YOU have for Easter?

Am curious to see what they did with the eggs, but the link doesn’t work (links back to an unknown page on your own site)

I have also seen the eggs with the days leading up to Christ’s death and his resurrection in the eggs (i.e. you get a nail to show the nails in his hands). Something for the kids to see the story. Here is a link I found. http://www.ehow.com/how_4844514_tell-easter-story-easter-eggs.html

Thanks for posting this. I made one last year but threw out the papers that go inside. Now I can go back to the source. (I had forgotten where I found it.)
