When James and I found out that I was pregnant, we were absolutely thrilled! At about week 5, all-day nausea became a constant companion along with fatigue and migraine headaches. Ah, the joys of the first trimester! I know James felt incredibly frustrated on some days because he just didn't know how to help me feel better. To keep us both focused on our growing sweet baby (and not on any unpleasant 1st trimester symptoms!), I planned this fun date.
We are so excited for "The Office" season premiere!
Don't you worry, I have some cool ideas for a quick party to go along with the show!
First, here are some FREE invites to send out! I asked my guests to DRESS in business attire!
Then I made "BIG TUNA" sandwiches, "Dunder Muffins," and of course "Stanley's Free Pretzels" (I cheated on the pretzels and just bought a bag of pretzels instead of baking the nice big ones) and I printed off these cute printables...
Everyone's spouse (or self :) has to travel away from each other every once in a while, right? If it's for a business trip, family emergency, etc. there would be an occasion where you would be a part. Well that's what happened to me this week. My hubby is gone on a business trip but I still wanted to be able to 'hang out' with him. So, I wanted to plan a 'date' while we were apart. How you ask? Through Skype! I thought it would be a perfect way to still be...
With four kids and little time, I am always looking for a quick and easy way to spend a few quality moments with my husband at the end of the day. Most days, the only moments we get are after the children are asleep. :) By that time, I'm spent, exhausted from the day with the children, and not motivated to do anything that requires very much effort. That's why I love dessert dates! Dessert dates are easy to prepare ahead of time, and they hardly cost anything. For parents...
Does your husband love to figure out how things work? Is he constantly tinkering on a project? Or maybe he loves to experiment in the kitchen with new recipes? Well, we have a date that is just up his alley! Invite your sweetheart to join you for a bit of experimenting in Love's Laboratory!
To set the scene for this fun date night, I set out this adorable invitation for my hubby to find the day before. It probably didn't hurt that I paired it with his...

All is fair in love and war, right?! Well, today we are going to find out. I have the perfect end of summer date night for you and your hubby OR for a big group. Leave this invite with a bag of ammo to get them excited.
Next up, you'll need to prep your weapons. Lucky for me, my awesome brother made these for us for Christmas this past year so the hard work was done for me. But here is a tutorial to make one like mine OR here is a tutorial for a real simple one....
If you love to play the games in the newspaper, this date is perfect for you!
First go to the Dollar Store and get two game books that are exactly the same. I chose Sudoku, but you could choose Crosswords, Word Searches, or Mazes. Send one of the books to your spouse with this FREE PRINTABLE that has instructions.
Time yourself as you go through the book and send your times to your spouse to see if they can beat them!
You could also use this on your regular...
It has been a HOT summer! With temperatures well above 100 degrees in many parts of the country, this date night is the perfect cool treat for your sweetheart. To set the scene, I drew inspiration from Corie's post: After Hours Ice Cream Party, which featured a wonderful invitation by One Charming Party.
I simply printed off the invitation and personalized it for an ice cream date for 2. I also turned their adorable "Thank You" cards download into little love...
