Helping Hubby Plan A Date

HelpingHubbyPlanADate

It's me again, from sclifeasawife.blogspot.com It is always an honor to guest blog for The Dating Divas.
February 14th was coming and my husband was busy, busy with school, work, and applying to grad school. Was it really fair for me to remind him that it was his year to plan Valentine's Day? So I thought I would help him out and this is a great idea to get husbands involved in the planning.

Every day I texted him a question, "Do you like it hard or soft?",...

Last Minute

wendy-lightningdate-pinterestpic

My husband is crazy in love with lightning! It totally intrigues him more than anything else in this world. I often find late at night or in the wee-early hours of the morning, he will be sitting outside enjoying this thrilling show. I can't lie, I love it too! Even our kids find it fascinating. I do know a few people who are terrified of of the cracklin' sounds and lights, but remember those days you would do anything to snuggle up to the one you love?? Now...

Roaring 20’s

Lisa P- Roaring 20's - Pinterest pic

Recently, my husband and I were invited to celebrate our friend's 30th birthday party. It is the big year for my husband and all of his friends. Crazy, huh! We were immediately intrigued because it was a different party. It was to be a Roaring 20's party and it was a murder mystery dinner.  Neither of us knew much about that decade, so we had to do some research to figure out what would be appropriate to wear.
The excitement only grew from there, because my...

The Bucket List

The Bucket List movie date night idea

At the beginning of this new year, we felt it was absolutely appropriate to plan a date all around New Year's resolutions...of a sort. If you haven't seen The Bucket List, you have missed out! The Bucket List is one of those movies that really makes you stop and think about your life. About the things you have always wanted to do, but just never had the time or money to do them. It's about creating a list for your life of the things you want to do before you "kick the...

Our Love Is… Date

Our Love Is... 3 mini-dates in one!

There are three parts to this date. You can split them up into three smaller dates or if you are able to spend an entire day together like we did, then do them all at once! My husband and I don't often get an entire day that we can spend together, so I wanted to make it special for both of us. A day where we could relax, reminisce, get out in the outdoors, and enjoy ourselves. Each part of this date was designed around three things that I love about our relationship....

The CSI:

Being a teacher definitely comes with perks! We may not get paid enough....but getting free things here and there helps to "soften" the financial blow. {WINK}  A few months ago, Nevada teachers were given the opportunity to go thru one session of The CSI Experience in downtown Las Vegas for free.  I have never really watched the show so I wasn't sure what to expect.  Holy hannah...it was a BLAST!!  THIS was the inspiration behind creating my OWN "CSI" adventure...
