After last year's Valentine's Day card, I needed a new original idea. So off to Pinterest I went. Someone had pinned a wedding table setting card using old library checkout cards and I thought it was ADORABLE! I love books and I loved this unique idea. It got me thinking about how I could use this.....and then I came up with the Library Checkout Valentine's card.
These are easy to make, personal and heart felt! First you'll need to gather your supplies.
I love to display family pictures. Each year for Valentine's Day, I love to get my husband an updated photo of us together. But, wow, after ten years of marriage, my photo gifts are usually the same...in a frame. When I stumbled across this idea here, I decided to turn it into a couple's photo block.
I love that this idea is cheap, elegant and can be ready within ten minutes. I am so excited about how this turned out!

I love scratch-off tickets. I love the anticipation as you rub that penny across the ticket waiting to see what you've won/earned underneath. I decided to make that the basis of my gift for my Husband this Valentine's Day....
I absolutely LOVE being a Diva because it helps me get out of my regular, busy with kids self, and more focused on things I wouldn't do on a regular basis- like make gifts for my spouse. That's really the point of what we as Divas are trying to do - make it easy on those of you who are like me and sometimes neglect the person who is the most important in our life - our spouse!
I really wanted to do something for my hubby that is cheap, yet creative - and perfect...
Valentine's Day is right around the corner! Are you ready? Each year, I try to think of a gift idea that is meaningful, but also budget friendly! While I was shopping at Michael's Arts & Crafts one day, I found a frame mat for $1. Inspiration began to strike! I came home and found a 5x7 picture of my husband and I. Next, I placed the mat around our picture. I gave this to my husband as part of his Valentine's gift and we began writing one sentence love...Continue Reading
