Becoming a wife and a mother has always been something I’ve looked forward to. I’ve always wanted to be the wife that my husband loves to come home to, and the mom that is around to share all the big and little moments of my children’s lives. I will be the first to admit I am not perfect BUT I don’t expect to be and am happy to learn and grow each day along with my little family.

My husband and I created goals for ourselves back in January but we really wanted to have a focus for our family too. We decided to have a night dedicated to writing our very own Family Mission Statement. This was not a boring event- oh, no- we made it FUN!! This beautiful DIY Family  Mission Statement Kit, created by the fabulous designer Erin of Strawberry Mommycakes, comes with:

  • Instructions on how to, as a family, create a mission statement
  • Tasty fondue treat to include while creating your mission statement
  • 2 pages of words – to be created into magnets for brainstorming
  • 2 pre-written, gorgeous family mission statements
  • 2 customizable family mission statements

    1. Rebecca,
We don’t have one so you can use the ones provided, or just jump onto Word and use their word art to create your own one-of-a-kind family mission statement:)

  1. For any of you who try this with the magnet tape linked (thanks for that, btw!), you’ll need to buy two rolls if you want to make all of the ones on the “Family Words” pdf. They’re the perfect height, though!

    1. Amy,
Thanks so much for that tip! I had an already opened pack that I used up first so I didn’t know you would need 2 packs. Thanks for letting us know:) Hope your family had fun with this!

  2. I am a little confused. I really want to do the family mission statement printable and signed up for the free week and also the e-mail, but I still don’t know how to get it. Also, I felt like I filled out all the information to pay, but still couldn’t get access to anything. Please let me know.

  3. How can I get just the pint out of the DYI of family mission statements. I would like to teach our parents at school an easy why to make mission statements at home to go along with our Leader in Me school?
