Measure Up: Father's Day Card
by Erika
This Father’s Day show your husband (or Dad) just how much he means to you with this simple and creative tape measure card!
This fabulous idea was found over at Family Fun and I thought it would be the perfect card for my husband. You can get the step-by-step instructions here but I thought I’d show you a few of the changes I made.
The great thing about this card is that I guarantee you have all the supplies on hand! A box, yellow paper, a maker, scissors, tape, and aluminum foil. (I used aluminum foil on the outside instead of the suggested black paper. I liked the way it looked – more like a traditional tape measure.)
Write a cute note to your man about he “measure’s up” as a father, husband, and guy! This card took me LESS than an hour from start (pulling stuff out) to finish and it is definitely unique. Can’t beat that!
This card would be PERFECT paired with a new set of tools and it doesn’t have to be just for Father’s Day. It could easily be used for Birthday’s or other special occasions.
