My favorite memory – or at least my most memorable one – of Valentine’s is of my brother and I fixing dinner for our parents one year… A nice candlelit dinner. =] And me being mischievous and ornery, I held a napkin over the candle and it caught on fire! Freaked me out and I dropped it on the floor. I started screaming and my parents came running, and stomped out the burning napkin. I’m much more careful around fire these days. 😉

  24. Kelley says:

My favorite valentines day memory was a surprise valentines day ballet, dinner, and roses. So romantic!

  25. Lisa says:

After 20 years of marriage, I think I have only spent about 5 Valentines Days with my husband…either deployed or on duty! But, we make it work and his absence make us never take each other for granted, makes our relationship always seem new, and makes us realize we are blessed to have each other ( and our kids). I love this site because it gives me some great ideas for new things! Thank you!
