Garage Sale Date Idea
by Kristen
The second listed all the items needed to be found. Once found, we would mark them off of our checklist. (Kind of like a scavenger hunt but we weren’t going to buy the items.) The person who found the most items would win and get a prize.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying one person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Jason and I both like going to garage sales to see what we can find. We found more than half the items on our list. I couldn’t believe it when I found one of my favorite books, “The Five Love Languages“ going for $1! Seriously, this book is amazing and I apply it to my marriage all the time.
Since I already have this book I decided to get it anyways and give it away to a reader who might enjoy this USED book. The deal is, you must apply this book to your marriage and I better not see it at your garage sale in the future!
Leave a comment to win this USED book, and I will announce the winner on Facebook by the end of the day. We also have a BIG giveaway coming up soon that includes this book Brand New and signed….so look for that in the future.
(The winner has been announced on our Facebook Fan Page.)
We walked over to a park and just relaxed in the warm sun while we ate and talked, and just laid there together on our blanket during a perfect summer afternoon. I brought a few activities to do like a kite and a paddle and ball, and a Frisbee all bought from the Dollar Tree, but we were enjoying our relaxing, lazy afternoon so much we didn’t even use them.

Thank you for all the great ideas and the opportunity to win your great garage sale find!
I have heard what the 5 love languages are but have never read the book. My husband and I were just laying in bed last night talking about what we think our love language is but have never taken the test… this would be perfect! And what a fun date!
