Easter Jelly Bean Trail

The Jelly Bean Trail
My husband had a tradition in his family when he was little that Easter morning the Easter bunny would always leave a trail of jelly beans, toys, and candy leading to his Easter basket. The story is that the Easter bunny has a hole in the basket and things are dropping out as he goes. So to keep the tradition alive we started to do this last year for our daughter and she loved it. She was excited to see the jelly beans and then thrilled when they led her to her basket. It is just something to make Easter morning a little more fun.

  1. What a cute idea! We used to get clues to find our Easter baskets, but I really like this. We’re going to have to try it out. Thanks so much for sharing. Enjoy your day!

  2. The Easter Bunny left footprints at our house when I was growing up. They were just three jellybeans clustered together to look like a bunny paw. It worked out so well because there were three kids in my family so we each got one jelly bean from each paw print!

  3. I do this with “leprechan” feet on St. Patrick’s day! (cut out little green footprints!) CUTE idea with jelly beans!

  4. I grew up with the 'jelly bean trail' tradition… I assummed it was this way for everyone else. I haven't met anyone personally who also grew up with this. My girls LOVE the jelly bean trail too!
