The Hint Box
How many times have you thought… “I wish my spouse could read my mind?” Today’s idea is just that! Why not take a night with your spouse and each create a “Hint Box?” Inside your Hint Box, be sure to include things that you LOVE. Then, whenever your spouse wants to do something nice for you, they can “take a hint” from your box full of ideas! Inside your hint box you will want to include things that are free (a walk around the block together), something easy and not too costly (Coconut M&M’s) or something B-I-G (a night out on the town). My friend Ali mentioned that sometimes marriage doesn’t need to be a guessing game…it can be just as simple as putting ideas in a box!
I purchased a paper box at a local craft store and covered it with scrapbook paper from home. This project took me less than 5 minutes to put together!
I then cut colored sheets of paper into small strips.
Finally, my husband and I wrote down ten things we would love to receive at any time! I think we may even update our boxes once a year or so.
Download your very own “The Hint Box” printable tag here! This idea was quick, easy and fun. Plus, I can’t complain about the cherry Coke I had with my dinner last night…. thanks to my husband and the hint box!
