Today I have a fun and EASY craft idea for those of you in long distance relationships. Actually, my sister-in-law gave me this idea (since I AM doing the long distance thing...which stinks!) but she said she's going to do it during the day while her husband is at work - so it really can work for anyone.
You've all heard the saying, "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words" and it's true. My husband LOVES getting and seeing pictures of me and our kids when he is away....
Have you seen this new trend that's around of dipped things?! Furniture legs, lamps, candlesticks, silverware...I've seen it all! I think it is such a fun idea and late one night it occurred to me it would be fun to dip a goblet/wine glass in some Halloween-ey colors. This would be the perfect addition to a Halloween Party or Dinner. Or you can add a quick note, some candy and make it a fun way to show someone you love them. So let's get started.
While browsing Pinterest this past January, I found this idea and knew it was perfect for Valentine's Day! AND I KNEW I had to have them share it with all of you. Seriously, this is the perfect and easiest gift for Valentine's or Anniversary, etc. Check it out.

I love giving thoughtful gifts to my husband for our anniversary, but often times I have a hard time coming up with something that isn't too cheesy. At my sister's house the other day, I stumbled upon this frame she had made for her husband. Perfect! She said she saw a similar idea on Pinterest and decided to make it herself. I'm going to give you step-by-step instructions of how to do it yourself.
Because of copyright laws, I couldn't make it a printable for you...
Does your spouse travel a lot? Or are you going to be apart for the first time? This quick and easy note is the perfect way to let them know you are missing them. It has the alphabet on the front with the letter 'U' missing. On the inside it says, "Missing U."
Just print it out, jot a quick message and slip it into their suitcase the next time they are headed out of town. It is sure to brighten their day.

I love to display family pictures. Each year for Valentine's Day, I love to get my husband an updated photo of us together. But, wow, after ten years of marriage, my photo gifts are usually the same...in a frame. When I stumbled across this idea here, I decided to turn it into a couple's photo block.
I love that this idea is cheap, elegant and can be ready within ten minutes. I am so excited about how this turned out!

Have you ever been out all day long, shopping, running errands, etc... All of a sudden you have a big urge to surprise your husband after work with a last minute week day date night or lunch just to realize that you kind of smell stinky and you don't have time to run home to get ready before his work day ends? Or maybe you were out for Date Night and chose a restaurant that left you with raging garlic breath, and now what's a couple to do?!?!?
I'm going to show...
