Boy and Girls Night Out

This date weekend is all about a “Boys Night Out” and a “Girls Night Out” with just the two of you.  Who says boys can only do boy things and that girls can only do girl things?  Whoever that was doesn’t have a clue, because this weekend we are going to show them that boys and girls can enjoy each other’s favorite night out activities.
Start off the weekend by shooting and cooking over the fire with your man enjoying some "BOY TIME" then snuggling...

Congratulatory

When I was pregnant last year it seemed as if my husband was the last to be taken care of and thought about. I wanted to do something quick, easy and simple just to let my husband know that I was thinking about him. I wanted him to know I DID love  him regardless of the much needed attention he had not been given during the past 9 months.

When packing for the hospital in preparation of the big day, I made sure to include a "Dad's" root beer and and straw with this...

Wanna Piece

You know what they say... a picture is worth a thousand words.  I'd say this special and impressionable lil' gift is no exception!

The IDEA:

Give your spouse a seriously beautiful picture of yourself one piece at a time throughout the day (or a piece in each letter if you're apart!) that will tantalize and entertain him leading up to bedroom romance.

The PREP:

1. Come up with your ideal ATTRACTIVE picture of yourself.  This may be as...

10 Stupid Things

Have I ever told you how much I love Dr. Laura Schlessinger?  She has written books like "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands " and "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage" (both books I love and HIGHLY recommended)!  There is something about her honest, blunt opinions that always seem to make sense to me and put me in my place.  Now some women may argue that she is too harsh, or doesn't understand the exact situation, but I think if everyone was to read her...

Leprechaun Kisses

Kristen-LeprechaunKisses-Pinterest

Although St. Patrick's Day isn't one of our most celebrated holidays, I still always like to do something simple and fun for my husband to wake up to and take to work with him.
This year I created a really cute simple printable box.  Print, cut, and glue together the indicated sides to make it into a 3-D box. Then include your spouse's favorite kind of Hershey's Kisses .

The “Sure Wife”

Kristen - Sure Wife Chart - Pinterst PIc

My husband received the best chart in a church class this past year.  The chart is titled, for my sake, The "Sure Wife" Chart.
Our friend who gave me permission to share his idea with our readers explains the chart like this; Every time you ask your husband to do something and he immediately says, "Sure Wife" (or your spouse does something without even being asked) he can mark the chart.  If he hesitates at all- NO mark!  Once your spouse reaches a smiley face...

Now that the crazy month of Love is over, it's time to start getting more creative on how we can show our love to our men on a more regular basis and not just once a year!  Let's Flashback to March 2011 and highlight some of the best ideas from this time last year.

“Love Potion”

Add "love potion" to the menu for your upcoming Valentine's party....or just for a night in with you & your sweetheart!

I created these fun Love Potion Printables, to stick on a bottled beverage.
I like the look of them on the red Strawberry Crush bottles.  They ended up being a big hit with our friends at the Valentine's Day party we went to, and it was sure to get a chuckle or a smirk out of most.

*Warning: Consumption MAY result in hot, passionate,...

Holiday Hair &

Kristen-HolidayHair-Pinterest

With the Holidays approaching it's very likely that sometime throughout this month you might find yourself invited to a party...where you must dress your best!  Here are a few ideas on how to wear your hair for that special evening and be the best looking "eye candy" for your hubby.

Start by learning to curl your hair with Lisa's Flat Iron Curls Tutorial.

Once hair is completely curled, this is what you will need to finish your style:
