We just loooooove our readers!  Recently, we had two of our amazing readers send us some of their date ideas.  We were SO impressed…we asked them to put together a few date posts to share with the rest of you.  I am excited to introduce you to Stephanie! {You’ll be seeing more of her!} We loved this fun, easy, & creative date idea. Here is the creative gal herself….

Hi! I am Stephanie from SC Life as a Wife.  When I got married I decided part of my role as a new wife would be to plan the best dates ever! The Dating Divas have been a great place for me to go for great ideas and I am honored to be here with them today!

Summer is finally here and we are so excited for our Favorite Date!
We call it THE FATE BURGER!
It’s easy, it’s fun, and it’s DELICIOUS!

First, find a group of friends (no picky eater friends for this group date)…

…then make a long list of burger toppings:
Bacon
Different types of Cheese
Onions
Mushrooms
Tomato

…and make sure to include some non-traditional ones:
Fried Egg (don’t judge until you try it, WOW)
Onion Rings
Avocado
French Fries
Pineapple (grilled)
Different sauces (A1, Ranch, BBQ)

Split the toppings up with your friends so everyone is contributing.  When everyone shows up, the girls usually prepare all the toppings, and bake some fries, while the MEN go and play with fire….and GRILL and do all that “MAN” stuff. (Grunt, Grunt)

Then we take all of our toppings, assign them a number on our dart board. If you don’t have a dart board you could pull them out of a hat, use cards, or put them on a spinner, anything that puts FATE in charge.

Here is the fun! We throw darts for 3-4 different toppings, we made a rule you can swap one of the toppings but we encourage everyone to stick with their FATE BURGER. (Sometimes we switch it up and throw for toppings for our spouse’s burger.)

I have had some of the most unique, yet incredibly delicious burgers EVER, from this DATE.

We give this date 5 Stars, 2 thumbs up, and an A+!

Stephanie

  7. This looks fun and could be a “family date” too. Children playing in the yard while the grown ups are having fun.

I have one idea that will sound weird but don’t judge till you try it. We have a new thing at the Eastern Idaho State Fair called the Bull’s Eye Burger. It’s a hamburger with a glazed DONUT for the buns, has bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce on it. They are such a hit everyone walks around with them. So I just thought I’d add that you could try buying some glazed donuts to use for your buns instead. YUMMY!

If you DO have picky eaters, you could use this same idea but do ice cream sundaes. It’s hard to find really bad combinations when it’s ice cream and sundae toppings!
