Easy Apple Party!
by Guest Blogger
The Dating Divas help us celebrate our spouses and this is what this guest post is all about!
I’m Stephanie from sclifeasawife.blogspot.com, and my husband just got a job with Apple! This is such a big deal for our family, we just had to celebrate!

And what better theme then an APPLE THEME! This party was easy and fun!

First we did a Candied Apple Bar. I bought a variety of apples, carmel and fudge, and a variety of toppings.
Topping Ideas:
- Cranberries
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate Chips
- Coconut (A MUST HAVE!!! so good!)
- Nuts (I chose pecans)
- Oreos (smashed)
- Pretzels (smashed)

Then we played “Apples to Apples.”
You can play it the standard way or our way. Every one gets a stack of green cards, face down, with out looking at them. Then you give a fill in the blank statement, such as “my cooking is______” every one chooses a card to flip over, it is funny because some are true and some are so far from the truth! At our party someone’s cooking was “deadly” and we all laughed because she was the one who fed us dinner! (…which was amazing, by the way, not deadly!) Another awesome thing about playing this way, is there are no winners or losers, just lots of laughs. If you want a list of statements to get your creative juices flowing, I have a list here you can download.
Sometimes your husband is the only inspiration you need for a party!
Thanks for having me,

I love the game, “Apples to Apples” … and I LOVE Fuji & Gala apples! {Not a fan of any of the other kinds…} This would be a fun date! Thanks for sharing, Steph! xoxo
Love this date! Great idea!
We love apples to apples as well. We seriously laugh so hard and it is a perfect easy game to play when we have friends over. I never even thought to play it that way. Great idea!
