“SPICY SPICE RACK”
BY DONELLE QUINN
CREATE YOUR OWN SPICE RACK
To create your own spice rack, first print off the adorable printable below…
Pick up a cute Spice Rack(you might be able to find one at a Garage Sale this summer), then fill your spice bottles and attach the adorable printable cutouts.
Then get ready to play! {wink, wink}
Thanks again Donelle, for submitting this fabulous and fun Intimate Moments idea!
What ‘SPICES’ would YOU add to this rack of love?
What bout bangles or something and u can just wear a couple see through scarfs a be a harem girl or belly dancer
A fun twist is to only give him (or her) 8 to begin with, and then when birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, etc roll around they get a new spice or 2 to add to the rack 🙂
Johanna – seriously, LOL, I’m loving that! Maybe even confiscate that ones that have already been used and trade them out randomly with new, fresh ideas as well. So fun!
I’m curious to know what the change and vitamins stand for
Well the vitamins look like they say super hero spice and the change one says booty spice I think( I would guess pirate theme for it) .
Ahh! I love this idea! I have been wanting to do this for a minute and I think I’m really going to do it this time! Valentine’s day it is! 🙂
I have read some of the comments and seen the chef’s choice and definately love that idea that way the hubs can be creative and enjoy the fun.
Think I may do sometimg spa related like small nail Polish and pair it with a silky robe.
Definitely still brain storming more ideas if I come up with some I will definately tell!
Chelsea… oooh, the spa – LOVE the spa! I wonder if it’s possible to find a small travel sized massage oil? Hmm… the options are endless!
This idea works as a gift for wives as well. At least, I hope it does, because I am putting one together for my wife. Is that dorky? Anyway, I’m going to add to it a bit by creating a custom cover for the box the rack comes in and also by adding ‘recipe’ cards with some ideas to go with the spicy outfits.
So far, for spices, I have black feathers for French maid, eraser tops for schoolgirl, red and white tic tacs for naughty nurse, sequins for exotic dancer, miniature red christmas lights for, um, well *blush* (let’s just call it the oldest profession), paper clips for the sexy secretary, hot tamales for the vixen and, finally, a set of blank strips of paper for the catch of the day!
One thing, though – do you happen to know the font that was used on the spice labels? I would love to match it in Photoshop.
Heath! Seriously!? This is awesome!! I can say, at least from a wife’s perspective, I would LOVE for my hubby to put this together. And, LOL, I’m loving your ideas! On the font, I don’t know which one that is exactly, but one of my favorites (which is very similar) is the Diamond Girl Skinny font or just the Diamond Girl.
I added a “chefs choice” and a piece of paper inside for him to write down anything he wants! Thanks for the cute idea!
Just saw this, love the idea! I have a TON of baby food jars waiting to be used just for this!! Thanks 🙂
Haha, Baby Jars – Genius!
I am doing this as a christmas gift for my husband. I need some ideas for mardi gras besides beads. Any ideas.
Alisha – love this!! AND… feathers. I purchased a pretty mask from Walmart for $5 right after Halloween (just an idea for future), but it had really pretty feathers on it. Also, you could use sequins or large glitter. We even have a Masquerade date night that you could use some ideas from. Good luck!
this is the perfect gift to give to my fiance for our wedding! Now I just need to think of a few ideas!
Racheal – oh my goodness, it is – isn’t it!? I think that is hands down the BEST gift a new wife could give her hubby 😉
LOVE this idea! I gave the spice rack to my hubby for our anniversary and it has been working out great! I added a couple as well including Hubby’s Choice Spice which was a blank bottle so he could get in on the fun. I also added Chef Spice using little cake erasers inside the bottle (just the apron), Fairytale Spice with a small Cinderlla doll inside the bottle (gives us so many options), Angel & Devil Spice with red and white rose pedals (Victoria Secret Style), and Pin Up Girl Spice with push pins in the bottle. Thanks again!
Suzanne, that is amazing!! um… you may need to fill me in on the cake erasers bit… LOL Love the Pin Up Girl idea, too!! Darling!
Hehehe…I forsee a fun stocking stuffer this Christmas :):)
{Snicker!} oh heavens, I think Santa would be a genius to do that!
I love all the ideas! I think I’m going to add a LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD spice to my mix. My husband would totally love being the “big bad wolf!” We could even incorporate a big fuzzy bear rug or some soft fur. I’ll also add a PIXIE FAIRY spice (the spice will be glitter) and incorporate some edible body shimmers – from Michelle’s website “Tickled in Love.” Also, I’m going to check Home Depot and see if there is a drill bit attachment (one that isn’t sharp or wouldn’t hurt) that I could tweak and add some feathers or something for a soft tickle with the “tool belt diva.”
Whitney!! Oh my gosh, that is a DARLING idea! ROFL! I am seriously in love with those ideas and of course, got to LOVE Michelle’s Tickled in Love site.
Oooo! This could be dangerous ;o)
teehee… dangerous indeed!
This is absolutely dah-ling! Love it!! xoxo
Well…I think this will be on my list of things to make this week! Seems a lot cheaper than a cordless power drill(which is what my husband said he wanted for Father’s Day) 🙂 Thank you!
Um, yeah, I think he would MUCH prefer to have this gift over a power drill! haha!! Good call 🙂
I think he might just want a power drill.
Soooo fun! I’m adding :
Star spangled- stars in just the right places! All American
Shower cap- shower him with love ( stolen from a previous post)
Hot tamale candies— Mexican theme
Blow pop—
Beads in purple green and gold— New Orleans theme
OMG, Connie!! I love those ideas! How creative and SPICEY. LOL, It’s party time at your house! I might have to borrow a few of your ideas for my own spice rack…
How creative!!! I love it, thanks so much for sharing and I can’t wait to put this together…
Lol, would love to hear if you come up with anything new to add… while you’re putting this fun spice rack together!
How do I download the printable?
Hi Stacey, Just click on the actual picture and print! It is a jpg, not in a PDF format. Great question!
What an AWESOME idea to spice things up! Great Father’s Day Gift idea too! 😉
Oooh, great idea for Father’s Day! I know my husband would LOVE something like this!
