My husband is a Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies and I lead in the planning sessions we have with our couples.

Matt and Amanda were planning their wedding AND expecting their first baby! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect because they actually got to find out what they were having a couple weeks prior to their wedding day. They kept this exciting news “Top Secret” because they wanted to reveal the baby’s gender to everyone in a creative way during their wedding reception.

    1. Oh my goodness- that has to be one of the CUTEST pregnancy announcement videos I’ve seen! Darling!

  11. We read an Original one too didn”t come out as planned though. We just put the family together on my birthday for a picture and instead of cheese I just went “I”m pregnant”. They all figured it was a joke and were just acting normal on the picture. I don’t even have it anymore. They believed me after I got the sonogram. Sigh* with a more believing family this might be cool I guess.

  12. I announced #3 by writing the due date in the sand and having my boys pose beside it in their matching big brother shirts.

  13. The end of our first trimester was around valentines day. I bought V-day cards for grandparents, aunts, etc signed them “can’t wait to meet you in august! Love, baby Hennon”, and mailed them out to our family. The phone calls coming in were great!!

  14. I just announced to DH that we’re preggers with #3. We already had a dinner date planned, and I had just found out that morning. So, I took the pregnancy test along with a little strip of paper with a brief note along with me in my purse. While my DH wasn’t looking, I unwrapped his silverware, and put the pregnancy test & note in their place, then wrapped the napkin back around it & put it at his place. Of course, he ordered wings, and probably wouldn’t have used the silverware, but I scolded him to put his napkin in his lap. He was quite surprised to see what was inside! 🙂

    1. That is the best story- and one that will be SO fun to re-tell to your little one!! I love it! CONGRATS!

  15. So cute! For ours I took a picture of our dogs and posed them next to a onesie with the caption “We’re going to have a new snuggle buddy July 2014!” For my parents I sent them a copy of my favorite children’s book and on the inside wrote “To read to your grandchild July 2014” and skyped them when they opened it. They loved it and the look on their face was wonderful!

    1. Awww- I love it! Congrats on your new addition- you’re getting close! Only one month to go! XOXO
