Celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

August 4th is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! That is definitely a day I am going to be celebrating. I’m SO glad we have a whole day set aside to appreciate the soft, chewy, rich goodness of chocolate chip cookies! Just writing that sentence makes me want to start baking.Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies? This cute and delicious holiday is a perfect opportunity to show some love to your honey – all you need is a chocolate chip cookie, and our printables!  You can even take this idea further and have a yummy, at-home date night making cookies together!

A huge thanks to Karyn, the talented designer from If Actually, for creating these sweet, cookie love notes. They are so adorable I just want to eat them up! I LOVE how the chocolate chips in the cookies are hearts!! Ahhh TOO cute! You rock, Karyn!

We’ve created, not one, but FOUR, cute cookie love notes to choose from! Print a sweet, little card to leave for your spouse with a delicious plate of chocolate chip cookies. Or, write a message inviting them to a date night of chocolate chip cookie baking!

You can also use one of our DIY cookie envelopes as the perfect love note and cookie packaging in one! These work great for slipping a surprise cookie into a lunch box, briefcase, or backpack!

Just fold and glue in the flaps to create a pouch. Then slip your chewy, gooey cookie inside (TIP: You may want to cover your cookie in plastic wrap or use parchment paper folded around it to avoid grease marks on your envelope!)

The second envelope has a cute little cut-out window if you want to take this project a step further! Just cut out the heart outline with an X-acto knife and attach clear cellophane on the back. Then fold and glue to create your pouch!
