Glow-in-the-Dark Party
A group date full of glow-in-the-dark games!Â
 Food, friends, and glow-in-the-dark games?!  What’s not to love!?  We are so excited to share our Glow-in-the-Dark Group Date! Perfect for warm summer nights! {You can thank me later!}
These water bottle wrappers were so easy to do and such a fun surprise for all of our friends. I added our printable label right over the top of the store label. Â A little tape on the back and I was good to go!
I cut out this cute printable banner and hung it on our fence to welcome all of our guest to the backyard. Â I LOVE everything about this! Â It really made it feel like a party.
When I started setting up for the party my kiddos got so excited! Â My 2-year-old couldn’t control his joy and he dipped his finger into the cake and enjoyed a big bite of icing. {If you look closely you can see some white on the bottom of the “W”on the word “GLOW”. Â I was able to cut it off, but he made his mark.} It was hard for me to tell them it was for “date night,” so I invited them to the party. Â {Shhh, don’t tell!} I sent out word to all of our invited couples to bring their kids and make it a family date night. Â The more the merrier and I know all of the kids would just LOVE a glow-in-the-dark-party!
There was more than enough food for everyone. Â We ate BBQ pork sandwiches, with coleslaw and potato chips {can I have seconds, please?!} Â Then we ate cake while we waited for the sun to go down and then the fun really started!
Glow-in-the-Dark Games
I’ve found so many great glow-in-the-dark game ideas it was hard to pick. Â Here are a few of the games that I went with.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Baseball:  This might have been my favorite game of the night!  To play this fun night game you’ll need a big plastic bat, a few wiffle balls (with holes), and a bunch of glow stick bracelets.  Stick 1 or 2 brackets into the holes of the ball to make it glow.  Each team member gets a bracelet to wear.  This was a total blast! I didn’t want to stop playing!
- Glow-in-the-Dark Bowling: This is super easy and a lot of fun. Simply fill ten 2-liter or half-liter bottles up with water. Activate 10 glow sticks. Put the glow sticks inside the bottles of water. Ta-da, glow-in-the-dark bowling pins! You can use a soccer ball to bowl.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Ring Toss: This is so simple to put together and tons of fun to play!  Gather 10 or so glow stick necklaces to use as tossing rings.  Next you’ll need a glowing pole.  Use a 2-liter bottle with an activated glow stick inside or tape a glow stick to a stick and push the end into the ground.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Capture the Flag: Â Split the group into 2 teams. Â Â You will need 2 glow sticks of different colors for flags. Each player will need 2 glow bracelets, one for each wrist, the same colors as the flags. One group will wear one color and the other group will wear another. Â Hide the glow stick flags and let the games begin! First team to find the other team’s flag wins.Â
Â
We had such a blast playing in the backyard! Â {Even though we didn’t win.} My family keeps asking me when we’re going to play glow-in-the-dark baseball again.
What are you waiting for?! Â Push print and get started on your Glow-in-the-Dark Party!
Such a fun date night!!!!! XOXO
