Back to School Questionaire

It’s time for Back to School AND this month’s freebie brought to you by Carisa of Messes to Memories, is going to help you remember the amazing change and growth that happens in a school year. Download this sweet questionnaire to ask your littles near the beginning of the year.  I always think I will remember how my child is at each stage but then my mom brain takes over and I forget.  This is an easy way to remember a little bit about what your cutie was like when they began the school year.

Print off both the Beginning and End of Year Questionaire.  Spend a few minutes filling in your child’s responses (or if they can write on their own, have them fill it in themselves).  You can have your child draw their own self-portrait in the section titled, “This is what I look like” OR you can add in their school picture in the fall ( beginning of the year) and spring (end of the year).

We have two options available.  One that is perfect for younger children and one that was created for older kiddos.

It’s always fun to pull these out and look back with your kiddos to see how much they have changed in just one short school year.

Back to School Gift Tags

As a former teacher, I know all too well of the importance a good first impression can make on the first day of school.  This year in preparing for back to school, we wanted to create something simple and easy to gift to teachers for the beginning of the school year, a little something to start the year off on a positive note.

That’s why we reached out to the fabulous Courtney of Paperelli to design these adorable back to school worthy gift tags to gift to your teachers on the first day.  We are convinced that these are sure to bring a smile to any teacher’s face.  Begin by choosing a gift tag from our printable set.  We have created 8 different designs to attach to simple items that any teacher will love.

Next, add some cute twine or ribbon and attach your tag to its complimentary gift item.

You can probably think of many items that will pair well with these adorable tags but here are a few ideas to get you started.  Pair the “I was mint to be in your class” with a tin of mints,  mint flavored gum, or mint-flavored candy.

Grab an inexpensive plant (we suggest an easy-to-care-for succulent) or a bouquet of flowers to pair with the “I can’t wait to grow with you this year” tag.

Attach the “Here’s to a smooth year!” gift tag to your favorite smooth scented hand lotion.

We all know that teachers love markers, fun colored pens, and funky pencils, so why not grab a pack and attach them to the “I’m really excited to sharpen my mind this year” tag.

You can put together a fun little gift basket using a few tags OR just gift one simple item.  Either way, you are setting up this school year to be a good one!  Happy back to school!

They’re Back and We’re Stoked!

They are with you ALL summer long and then in just a moment they are back to school and you are back to freedom {wink!}.  We’re not sure if life gets easier or just more chaotic when school starts again but we DO know that getting together with friends while the kiddos are back in school is a great way to celebrate the new school year.  Designed by the ah-mazing Karyn of If Actually, this They’re Back Party Pack has EVERYTHING you will need to throw a back to school luncheon and book exchange.

First, invite your guests with these adorable invitations complete with extra inserts! Add in the book exchange invitation reminding your guests to bring a wrapped book to exchange at the party.

Don’t forget to include the book insert card for guests to tape or glue into their book before wrapping and bringing to the party.  This card will help keep track of whom to thank once you finish and enjoy a new book!

Food tags can easily be glued or taped to toothpicks for easy party food decorations.  Place food tags in sandwiches, fruit, veggie trays, and treats to decorate and remind your guests of the celebration at hand.
