Are you looking for a fun way to connect with your spouse that will spice things up in the bedroom, sharpen your memory skills, and ultimately help you find your “love match”? Today’s post accomplishes all three of these goals by putting a romantic spin on the classic game of Memory. I present to you… A Love Match Game!

Zodiac Compatibility Love Calculator
But first, have you ever wondered how compatible you and your significant other are? We are obsessed with quizzes and calculators that tell you just that! We happened to find a love calculator that gave us a good analysis and we couldn’t help but share it with you.
This love calculator tries to give you a score on your love compatibility with another person. Even if you and your significant other are already married, it’s fun to see what your scores say!
We couldn’t help taking it a step further by creating an actual GAME to determine if you and your sweetheart are a MATCH. That’s how this LOVE MATCH game was born!
A Perfect “Anytime” Game for Couples
We’ll explain all the details in just a moment, but in short, this Love Match game contains fun little romantic prompts (if you love kissing games, this one’s for you!) that you and your spouse are only allowed to complete once a match has been made with the cards! How fun is that?
You could literally bust out this romantic game at any time — a birthday, an anniversary, Valentine’s Day, or at the end of date night! A huge thank you to Diva Elizabeth for creating this awesome Love Match game printable for our readers! We couldn’t have done it without her!
How to Make Your Love Match Game
Before we jump into the nitty gritty of HOW to play your Love Match game, let’s run through how to understand your game cards.
- NOTE #1: The cute PDF linked at the bottom of this post contains enough squares to make a 3 x 6 grid of memory cards (or fewer if you’re in a hurry)!
- NOTE #2: Each card is has a front and back side — all you need to do is fold!
- NOTE #3: The left side of each page of the printables are the “fronts” of each square playing piece.
- NOTE #4: The right sides are the “backs,” which contain all the fun romantic suggestions.
Super easy, right? Now take a look below to learn exactly how to assemble your printable Love Match game cards in five easy steps!
1: Print your Love Match pages on some good quality cardstock. This will help keep your cards flat and durable so you can use them again and again!
2: Next, simply cut out each strip containing the front/back sides (don’t cut down the middle!) and fold it over on each other, creating the front and back of the playing card.
3: Secure the two sides together using tape, glue, or adhesive. To make this task super quick and easy, I used a tape adhesive roller.
4: Fill in the optional blank cards with the sexy tasks of your choosing. Here’s your chance to get creative and write in your own ideas! (Remember, to form a pair, you will have to write the suggestion twice.)
5: When all your game cards are ready to go, be sure to mix them up before arranging them in a grid. Make sure they’re all turned facedown so you can’t see any of the Love Match game tasks. If you’re using fewer cards, be sure that each of those cards you’re playing with has a match.
Now you’re ready to play!
How to Play This Romantic Couples Game
The rules for playing this game are simple and we’ll tell you exactly what to do. Like a classic game of Memory, your goal is to find matching pairs of cards.
STEP 1: Lay out your grid of playing cards facedown on the surface of your choosing. Once your grid is ready to go, it’s time to grab your sweetie! FYI, you’ll definitely want to play this bedroom (or Valentine’s Day) game in private…
STEP 2: Take turns flipping one card over, followed by a second with the goal being to make a match. Once a match has been made, you and your sweetheart can complete the prompt!
STEP 3: Brace yourself. Some of these Love Match game cards are super spicy — which is just how we like it! If you didn’t get a match, flip the cards back over and it’s now your sweetie’s turn to try. And, if you don’t quite make it through the whole game before sparks start flying, no worries! (…wink, wink!)
