Tis the season to put up your mistletoe and moisten your lips for this flirty spin on a 12 day Christmas countdown inspired by one of our readers – Ashley! With all of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, it could be so easy to put aside the romance but not anymore!  To show your husband some lovin’ this holiday season, here is what Ashley came up with:

I love your “Spouse Christmas Countdown” and Love, Actually’s blog “12 Lays of Christmas” so I put a spin on both of them and came up with my very own “12 Days of Kiss-mas!” Starting 12 days before Christmas (December 13th), my husband will open an envelope containing a kiss he will receive that day. Each day he will receive a kiss leading up to Christmas. Hope you like!

Great idea Ashley! Who wouldn’t like a daily excuse for a smooch? Divas to the rescue! I took Ashley’s idea and created for you a special Dating Divas’ style…

…12 Days of Kiss-mas Countdown!

Here is what you do:

Print out these Kiss Cards (download at the bottom of the post!) Each card has a unique way to share a smooch and I even included blank ones just in case you want to include one of your personal favs.

Place the 12 kiss cards each in a separate envelope. For mine I used Erika’s heart shaped envelopes idea with Christmas paper – so cute and easy to make! Spread on the lipstick and seal that envelope with a kiss! Or, in my case, a golden monogram sticker seal (the lipstick didn’t show up well with the colorful paper I chose!)

12 days before Christmas, put out your envelopes for him to see & let him know what is going on. Next to my envelopes I also included a jar of – you guessed it – Hershey KISSES.

Each day for 12 days before Christmas have your spouse choose a card and then . . .  let him claim his Christmas kiss!

And for even more lovin’ you could do this Kiss-mas countdown along with our 12 days of love notes or use these 12 days of Christmas printables!

Merry Kiss-mas to you and to all a good night {wink!}!
