Moving Tips: Packing Box Label System

I have to say this looks wonderful! For everyone who would like to know about prioritizing what boxes to open. I would take a binder similar to the moving binder and make a table of contents with the colors matching your stickers. Then under each section in the binder you have a chart, first category is the a number 1,2,3, etc( of the box) the second would be a brief description of the contents, third would be priority. Then on the boxes you would put your colored dot a number .
I’m super excited about this! We are moving in May and I’ve been super nervous about remembering everything and making sure everything gets done. Now that I have my binder I feel so much better! And I just got my labels today. I can’t wait to start sticking them on boxes!
Moving is this worst but hopefully these printables will make things a little less stressful! I’m moving in July (again!) so I’m going to need to print this too! Good luck!

Who says moving can’t be fun!? These are all great, and if you start early you have plenty of time to maximize your time and pack properly.
Heather such a great attitude! I actually LOVE some aspects of moving- like going through all my stuff, purging out things I don’t use and organizing!

What 6 rooms are included on the labels?
Hi Brittany! There are actually more than 6 rooms! We have labels for the Kitchen, Living Room, 6 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, Garage and Basement. That was a great question- I think I will add that to the post for other readers! Thanks!
What size Avery labels does this use? I’m looking to use up some 5395 that I already have.
Elyn! I used Avery 8163, but as long as they are 2×4″ (10 per sheet) they will work!

Love this! How many different rooms are in the color coordinate labels? Or is this editable?
Hi Maria! As we speak, I am literally sticking these labels on boxes- I’m moving Friday! 😉 There are 6 colors in all, but all the bedrooms are the same color (teal), and have different numbers 1-6. The same for the bathrooms (green) but they have numbers 1-4. It’s SO helpful!!
How many pages are there?
Hi Evie! There are 53 pages in this kit! About 10 of them are instructions and descriptions, so you wouldn’t need to print those. There are a few different options of some of the printables, so you may not be printing every single page. This awesome kit is jammed packed with ideas and you sure get a lot included!!
