When I told my cute hubby about this he was completely stoked about the idea! Night games bring out his competitive side. {I’m glad he’s on MY team!} He started making the guest list right away! Once we had a few couples in mind, we were ready to send out invites. My favorite way to deliver these invitations… doorbell ditching! Take a look at these cute invitations created by our lovely designer Erin of Printable Crush! She is so great to work with and I’m just loving everything we send her way!

Invitations and Awards
These little award ribbons were so cute I wanted to use them all over for decorations! Capture the flag is my favorite night game {if you can’t tell!}. I had Erin make an award ribbon just for that! It’s also a great game to play while waiting for the sun to go down, because it doesn’t require complete darkness. But in case the game does run past sundown, we love using these glow in the dark batons as flags.

Team Flags

When your guests arrive, divide everyone into two teams. We kept couples together, but you can split it any way you’d like – boys vs. girls or spouse vs. spouse! Once your teams are chosen, decide on the night games everyone wants to play. This is when the Night Games Card really comes in handy! Especially if you need a refresher on some of your childhood games.

Team Water Bottle Labels

Thirsty, anyone?? Add these Team Bottle Labels to your beverage of choice: soda, sports drink, or water. It’s a great way to refresh and support your team. 🙂 Hint – when adding them to a cooler full of ice, make sure to cover the label with tape to prevent the ink from running.

  1. Capture the flag is where it’s at! I don’t think I’ve ever played with my husband… that’s something I’d like to see!
