PUMPKIN CARAMEL APPLE RECIPE
- Large granny smith apples
- Kraft caramels
- Wilton vanilla flavored orange candy melts
- Grapefruit knife or sharp pointed knife
- Clean sticks from the yard
- Plastic freezer bag
- Ribbon
Directions:
1. Give your apples a good wash.
3. Wrap the bottom of the stick in a freezer bag so that none of it will actually touch the apple. {Not that you eat the core anyway} Place the stick over the stem and push down firmly to secure the stick, but not go all the way through.
I think both versions are delightful!
Add a little treat bag around the apple and they make a great little gift for the hubs!
You can even add a little fall themed note like one of these:
Hey “pumpkin” you’re the greatest!
You’re the “apple” of my eye!
You’re always so “sweet” to me!
I’m “fall”ing for you all over again.

Oh, I Love these! Such a great idea – they do look like mini pumpkins 🙂
These look SOOOO yummy!! MICHELLE! I am in awe! When I saw the first photo, I just KNEW I needed to make these. Super cute, looks delicious, and I also LOVE the “stick” touch! Genius!!
Awesome twist on a great treat! Such a great idea. My weekly linky party–One Creative Weekend–has gone spooky this week in honor of my thirteenth party. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll visit “One Creative Weekend” on OneCreativeMommy.com (open every Fri-Wed) and link up this idea and anything else you’d like to share. (You can include non-Halloween posts as well, but feel free to link up as many Halloween-themed posts as you like.)
Those are so precious…I love how you used real sticks for them. I will be making these this fall for sure!
