I am always on the lookout for an idea that is simple, useful and quick. When I stumbled across this idea…I just had to share! This idea came from the darling site, The Idea Room. This idea is meant to be used for Father’s Day, but I thought it could be used anytime.
“Since my hubby has a few favorite snacks, I decided the kids could help me make this cute snack case for him to take and keep at work.” –Amy from The Idea Room
I love that all you need to do this is candy and old fashioned soda bottles!
How did you resecure the bottle tops on the bottles? I love this idea!
Use the twist off kind.
I love this and my hubby would love it even more! But my silly question is…how do resecure the lids?
Use the twist off kind. They go back on fairly easy.
I would love it if you could tell me where you got all the cute covers for the bottles and where you found the glass bottles. I love the way you did this!! SO CUTE!! I would like to do this for my dad for Father’s day, but I’m not sure where to find those two items?
I love this…how fun!!
I made these a few years ago for my husband, for Valentine’s Day. I can’t wait to make him some more for Father’s Day.
Ooooh I LOOOVE it! Great idea, ladies!
I made these for my kids grandfathers… I just used scrapbook paper, some pictures of the kids and some clear contact paper to wrap the bottles with… and I just used the soda itself instead of filling them with snacks… I figured they could fill them themselves when they were done with them. My Dad still has his, he LOVES them!!!
ok, I have been wanting to do something with my IBC bottles for a few months now and this is perfect!
This is a fun idea and my husband loves candy 🙂
