Happy BIRTHDAY week! It's the beginning of the year and time to start thinking about all those special birthdays you will be planning. This week at the Dating Divas, we are dedicating the whole week to Birthday Ideas to keep you filled with fresh ideas for the ones you love.
This past year my husband turned 30. I wanted to make sure and surprise him with an awesome party he’d never forget. He was born in 1980 so I thought throwing an 80’s party would be perfect!...Continue Reading

'Tis the season for giving and what better way than to make a date out of it? My husband and I really have been in the spirit of giving this year especially, so when my husband suggested this date I thought it was a fantastic idea! (Yes, this was my husband's idea.) Which just goes to show that he has a really big heart and enjoys serving others. We decided to contact our local food bank and sign up to do some volunteer work. We double-dated...
I'll Love You Forever! Aaahhh...doesn't that just sound great?! It does to me. That is what my date was all about. Joseph and I celebrated our 6th anniversary (wahoo!) at the beginning of the month and I wanted to make it extra special. He is truly the best thing in my life and with how crazy our lives are right now, I really wanted him to know how amazing I think he is.
How did I do that? Well, let's just say with 3 kids our budget...Continue Reading

Have you felt the chill in the air? I decided we needed a NIGHT IN to off-set the cold because...
Baby, It's Cold Outside!
I left my husband an invite and a new pair of gloves (since I had made him cut his others for our Halloween Costume.) This pair was on sale at Old Navy for $4, but you could easily find a cheaper pair at Wal-Mart or the Dollar Store. You could leave it with ANY warm clothing (hat, scarf, socks, etc.) or none at all!

Halloween Party Ideas
Okay, everybody ~ here's the spook... er, I mean the scoop! If you don't have plans yet to throw together some of your own Halloween fun... this is it! If you are like me, you're the gal who says every year, "I freakin' want to become a fabulous hostess and throw great parties!" How about starting with this? Lucky for me, I have a wonderful friend who is a hostess PRO (take a bow, Lid!) We had this fabulously fun and creepy party just...Continue Reading
Happy, Happy Columbus Day! Today we are going to be doing our own exploring. But don't you worry, we won't be going too far from home on this date. Instead, we'll use our surroundings to "explore the Wild Jungle!"
I was pleasantly surprised when my inspiration for this date came from an unexpected source. One of YOU - our readers! When Stephanie wrote us, she was looking for "Diva Advice". She wanted suggestions on presenting her anniversary gift to...Continue Reading
I have to start by telling you about one of Joseph and my favorite dates. We went to a spa to get a couple's massage, but it turned out to be more than I expected! I had never been to a professional spa before and it was amazing! We first got put in a sauna for 45 min, then to a relaxing love seat where we were served fresh fruit and Martinelli's while some romantic/relaxing music was playing in the background. Once we were done with that, we were then taken to do...Continue Reading
I just want to start this post with a little "background story". For as long as I can remember I have LOVED Rock'n' Roll music. Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, and AC/DC are just a few of my faves. I love it so much that I decided the guy I would marry would have to LOVE it too. Don't worry...that wasn't my only criteria. :) I just always knew that if we had the same taste in music that we would probably have lots to talk about as well as a lot of other things...Continue Reading
