I’ve been doing a little research, and found that the most popular thing to do the day after Christmas is… you got it. RETURN GIFTS! For me, that just does NOT sound appealing. I want to bask in the after-Christmas glow a little by relaxing at home with my fam!
So this year, I thought, ‘Why not do something useful with our time? Why not take advantage of these WONDERFUL lovey-dovey Christmas feelings??’ and I decided to…
…write my thank-you’s.
My husband always gets me really nice gifts! I usually tell him ‘thank you’ and ‘I love it’ and give him hugs and kisses and all that good stuff. BUT, there is something to be said about writing all that gratitude down! I believe it does both the writer and the receiver lots of good. This is especially true if your husband’s LOVE LANGUAGE is ‘Words of Affirmation.’
{to learn more about love languages, check out this post: The Five Love Languages Book Review. You can also buy Dr. Chapman’s book here: The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts And I ABSOLUTELY ADORE the Men’s Edition, my husband read it and rocked my world! Find that edition here: The 5 Love Languages Men’s Edition: The Secret to Love That Lasts}
To help you on this quest, we have 3 different printable thank you cards for you to choose from! I picked one for my husband, but I am going to print the others too and have my kids write their thank-you’s as well! Like I said, does everybody some good! 🙂
Card # 1
Card #2
Card #3
These card are designed to be printed on a standard piece of letter-sized paper, and then folded in half to make a card. If you have white cardstock to print on, that will make these cards a little more durable. {Not completely needed, just a suggestion.}
Enjoy these printables! And have fun writing meaningful thank-you’s! 🙂 We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!!!
