Year in Review
Need something quick to add to your New Year’s Night plans? In less than 10 minutes you can add something meaningful to end your year right AND create a new tradition for years to come! We’ve got you covered!
Starting a new year is a time of reflecting on everything that has happened in the last year and looking forward to things to come. My husband and I love to keep journals and look back on how we’ve changed. It is so easy to forget favorite memories and so fun to see the change over time.
In order to do just that – I thought it would be fun to start a brand new New Year’s tradition in our family! I created this adorable reflection printable to document the year. It includes a section to write a little about yourself, plans for the upcoming year, world events, and more! How fun will it be to look back on these in years to come?
All you have to do is print one out for each member of your family. There are 2 pages and can be downloaded at the bottom of this post!
Gather your spouse and/or family together and take some time to fill it the questions and talk about their answers.
Finally – store it somewhere safe and accessible so you can pull it out next year! I am planning on putting ours in sheet protectors and a binder to collect over the years.
Whether you are planning a large party or a quiet night at home for this New Year’s Eve – this idea can fit into any of your plans! Taking time to reflect on the year is part of what the night is all about! I even made one in which the year is blank so that you can do this with your family for years to come!
This is so cute! Is there any way 2013 can be taken off and the box left blank? That would be awesome! Thanks for the consideration.
The “any year” template still has 2012 listed under the favorite memory section. Would be great to leave it as 20… as the bigger date up top.
Thanks!
Sheree – I am so glad that you are interested in the using this printable for years to come! I am slightly confused about your comment because when I click the “any year” link at the bottom of the post it does list the year as 20 followed by a blank. If it really isn’t working for you send me an email and I can send personally send you the pdf file to make sure you get the right version! sarina@thedatingdivas.com
