April Fool’s Day is right around the corner. There are so many things that we can do to the loved ones in our lives. I have been brainstorming to find the perfect ideas. I found these awesome treats to surprise my man when he wakes up in the morning. I found some disgusting treats that are still edible. They are named Ear Wax, Toe Jam, and Nose Nuggets. That sounds appetizing, huh? I know….totally gross and it will get the correct response on this crazy day.
You can even step it up and hide them all over since they come in big packs so that your spouse will find them throughout the day and think of you. The great news is that you can buy them online and it will only take a week to get to you. I bought all three from Oriental Trading and they were on sale, which makes them even better. If treats aren’t what you are after this year. I have also included a list of ten “tricks” that you can play on your significant other. Remember to keep your eyes peeled on that day. You never know who will pull a prank or where it may happen!
10 Ways to Fool Your Man…
- Put some salt on his toothbrush so he will be sure to think of you next time he brushes his teeth.
- If you have a water pitcher, put clear Kool Aid in it for a great reaction. I have done this before and it really works. Your brain is thinking about water and doesn’t expect the other taste.
- Put saran wrap on the toilet so when he goes to the bathroom it will come back up. Blow dry the saran wrap for a smoother look.
- Take off the powered sugar off of a white donut and replace it with baking soda and flour. Make sure you put it into the bag or box and leave some with sugar, so he sees you eating them as well.
- Put Tabasco sauce on something he will be eating today. Try not to send it to work because he won’t have anything to eat. But at dinner time, you could always have a nice surprise waiting after the prank.
- Put a fake spider in his cereal, shoes, or somewhere it may catch him by surprise.
- Short-sheet the bed.
- Replace his screen saver or cell phone picture with something silly.
- Put a Whoopie cushion on his chair.
- Attack him at night with silly string.
You know your spouse’s sense of humor better than anyone else….so be sure to choose your pranks wisely! This is a day for laughter, pranks, and having fun. {We wouldn’t want anyone upset over the pranks….I would be worried about the “revenge” prank! lol} I hope that you have a great April Fool’s Day and enjoy the holiday with the loved ones in your life!
I love the screen-saver idea!!!! My husband HATES clowns, so I’m thinking that’s exactly what I’ll change his to! Haha! Thanks for the fun ideas! If you’d like to gander over to my blog, I posted a whole bunch of ideas, too! I love April Fool’s Day!!!
wouldn’t the seran wrap prank make a mess?
Haha….Brandi – that’s what I thought! 🙂 Yeah….I probably wouldn’t do that one….cuz the hubby would probably make ME clean it up! The other ideas are really cute. 🙂
It has become a tradition at our house to have meat loaf for dinner on the last day of March. Then I make meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting (and sprinkles) for my husbands April Fools Day lunch. Last year I also went to his work and traded his car for mine, just to confuse him!
