Couple’s Photo Block

I love to display family pictures.  Each year for Valentine’s Day, I love to get my husband an updated photo of us together.  But, wow, after ten years of marriage, my photo gifts are usually the same…in a frame. When I stumbled across this idea here, I decided to turn it into a couple’s photo block.

I love that this idea is cheap, elegant and can be ready within ten minutes.  I am so excited about how this turned out!

Step One: Get a piece of wood.

I used a 4×6 piece of wood and painted it black.

Step Two: Get a picture of you and your sweetie and glue it onto the block of wood (I used wood glue).

Step Three: After your block of wood is dry, mod podge your photo to the wood block.

Step Four: Once the mod podge is dry, add fun ribbon around the block of wood.

There you have it!  A quick and easy way to display your favorite picture!  I plan on giving this to my husband when we go out to a fancy restaurant on Valentine’s Day!

  3. I like this idea a lot!! I love to decorate with photos, but I feel like I start to get too many picture frames! This is even cute for a wedding idea if you can get the couple to give you one of their photos!
