  1. This is the cutest gift idea!! And I LOVE the sweet story you created! Thanks for sharing it! Now, I’m ready to go make one for my hubby!! 😉

    1. I am not exactly familiar with this website’s policies. I assume you can access the website and at least make your book as a PDF file. As for printing and shipping – you will have to contact the company personally. I hope that helps!

  2. i have just completed my love story book, i want cover page for my love story book, please give any idea for my love story books.

    thanks,

    husain

  3. I just want to say THANK YOU for this wonderful idea. I’m starting my own little ‘storybook’ like this right now and I’m having so much fun with it. Thanks for a wonderful idea, you’re the best!

  4. Your book is wonderful! Thank you for sharing this. I just made one for my husband and emailed the link to him. We’re separated right now but I’m praying for his return. He may not appreciate the book right now, or even read it, but I wrote a story about our unfinished love story (about our past and how I’m now waiting, hoping, praying and believing for his return home). I hope some day in the future it will mean something to him, and when he returns I may order a hard copy of it to remind us how we survived the “worse” part of for better or worse.

    1. Thanks for sharing your experience! We appreciate hearing how you are using these ideas to strengthen your marriage – no matter where your relationship is at. 5. I love this so much! I have just started making my husband a year of dates Christmas present, and we’ll make one of these books for one of our dates – so excited! Deborah, we’ll be printing the pdf on card too – hope yours worked well!

  6. OMG I JUST DISCOVERED THIS SITE TODAY AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY FALLEN IN LOVE WITH IT! <3 you divas are amazing, thank you so much and keep it up! <3

  7. I noticed a few other people have you asked you this question, and I tried to follow your directions in replies to them, but it is not working. I created a story, saved it, and want to have it printed as a hardcover, or at least email it to myself, but there is no “share” button on the upper left side of my cover page. Any help you have would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to do something with my book for my one year anniversary which is October 25th.

    1. Christina –
Without seeing your screen I can only guess what might be happening. My first hunch is that you have saved it but not PUBLISHED it. While in edit mode of your book, in the top right corner there is a dropdown menu that says “Menu” you can choose Save, save and close or publish. When you publish you can make it private or share it with the storybird world – it is up to you and from there purchase. If that doesn’t work PLEASE let me know and I can try another hunch!

  8. I was trying to do this storybook thing and I cant manage to send it through email and the demo is nothing like the actual program. HELP!!

    1. Awww – that is frustrating. Let me see if I can walk you through it: When you are logged in to the site click on the YOU tab that will take you to the page where you can see the book that you have made. Click on the title of your book. This should take you to a page that has the cover of your book central and the inside pages off to the side. Above the upper left side of your cover there is an area that says SHARE along with icons for facebook, twitter, stumble upon and email. Choose email (or any of the options) and that should be it!
Good luck! Hope that helps. I will try to add a visual of the page to this post to help others who are asking the same question!

  9. I finally finished my book, and I really want to share it on my website, but I don’t see any features on the storybird site that would let me do it without downloading the PDF. Am I overlooking some essential, tiny detail?

    1. I am so excited to see it! Don’t you love this site? Alright – here is what you do:
When you log in click on the YOU tab and you should find a picture of your book (if you have published it) Click the title of your book. This should bring you to a screen that shows the title page of your book and the inside pages to the side. Above the cover page their is a link that says “embed & badges” click that and you should see various options with html coding from there you probably know how to embed on your blog better than me! Good luck!

    1. So stinkin’ cute! You are so creative! What a great gift under the tree this year! The hardest part will be not showing him early! Thanks for sharing!

        1. I chose to download the pdf version and print mine for only $1.99. I printed it on extra card stock paper we had laying around the house and on an old printer that my husband swears is worthless so he doesn’t care how much ink I use. It came out amazing. I’m going to take it today to have it bound and have a cover put on. I’ll try to post pics of the finished product.

    1. Too bad! My husband had the same problem on his computer and it was a combination of 2 things: he had an ad blocker that prevented him from viewing it online and/or he had to do an update on his software. After we played with both of those it appeared. Hopefully you can get it to work!
