DIY Father’s Day Placemat Idea
Let Dad know he is loved this Father’s Day with a special surprise gift for him! This Father’s Day gift is the perfect way for the kids to share their gratitude for dad in their own way!
Many families have a tradition of making a special meal for dad on Father’s Day. Whether it is breakfast in bed or his favorite dinner, you can make dad’s place at the table extra special with this fun Father’s Day Placemat.
We teamed up with the super talented designer, Jennifer at Jen T By Design to create printable placemats – just for Father’s Day! She did a fantastic job of creating a keepsake that Dad will love! Check it out:
Simply print your placemat before Dad’s special meal, and have the kids fill it out!
There are two sides full of activities that can easily be printed back to back!
The placemat has places for the older kids to answer questions about Dad.
For the younger kiddos there are lots of places to draw special pictures for Dad.
On the backside there are even spots for some games to play with Dad!
You can easily print this Father’s Day Placemat out on an 8.5 x 11 paper straight from your printer OR you could take it to your local print shop and have it printed onto an 11×17 paper. I printed mine on an 11×17 and had it laminated so that this can be a yearly Father’s Day tradition. {I have this laminator at home – it’s awesome! If you watch, too, you can get an amazing deal on it!} Paired with some Expo dry erase markers, the kids can decorate and re-decorate year after year!
Just choose your preferred printing size and click the specific link to the size you want below!
Print the Father’s Day placemat, decorate it and place it in dad’s spot at the table for the perfect Father’s Day tradition!
Thank You! What a great, simple – yet loving – idea.
Thank you for sharing! So glad you found it!
This is DARLING!!!!!!!!
These are super cute!!! It would be awesome to have them customizable so that we can make them for their “Bonus (step) Dad” also. I can’t really use a lot of the Father’s Day printables because she can’t call him Dad or Daddy.
That is a fun idea! The designer, Jennafer, is amazing and I am SURE she could work with you to create something that fits your particular situation. Her site is: https://www.JenTbyDesign.com Since the design is already made I am sure it wouldn’t be too costly to get a custom design. See what she can do!
Super Cute!! Love the colors and the fun activities!
