Gather your supplies:
- Toilet Paper rolls
- Scrapbook paper
- Glue
- Paper trimmer/scissors
- Ribbon
- Mother’s Day Gift Tags from Hello, Good Gravy!
Begin by bending in the ends of the toilet paper rolls. By pre-creasing the ends, they fold in easier when finished.
Cut your paper down to the size of the toilet paper about 5×7 inches. Put glue/adhesive all over the back side of the paper, making sure to to get a lot on the edges so they will stay down. Wrap the paper around the toilet paper roll and press it down firmly. I kind of rolled mine around to push it down even more. Once it is good and glued on, go ahead and push the ends of the toilet paper roll in.
I was then going to design a mother’s day tag to add, but this one I found at Hello, Good Gravy! was so cute and perfect, I felt that there was no need to do my own. Head over to their site to download your own, and leave them some love! Just print off tags, cut out, and punch a hole at the top. I then used a variety of coordinating ribbons to tie it on.
These little gift ‘boxes’ are perfect for nail polish, jewelry, a treat, or any other small thing a mother could want or need! It would also be the perfect gift wrap for father’s day or a kids birthday. So versatile!
Happy Mother’s Day to all women out there!
When I printed them all the dots on the colored paper were not there. There was just five dots on all the cards but one and that one still did not print correctly. Sorry, they are still cute but not what is pictured. I am still planning on using them though. Thanks for the sweet printable!
Oh my heck! These are adorable! Great use of toilet paper rolls!! I would have never in a million years thought of this — you. are. amazing!
Fun idea, Erika! Who knew TP could produce something so cute! LOL xoxo
