How Do I Love Thee Card

Do you all remember the How Do I Love Thee craft post we did??  Tara did an amazing job with it!

Well if you have ever run into problems while trying to recreate an idea, you will totally relate to this post! One of our creative readers, Sarah, sent us in this idea… in case the same thing happens to you! 😉

Sarah started with the intent to make the muffin tin project. She got so excited about it, actually printed it out without realizing that her printer was set to prior settings that caused it to print 2 pages per sheet, which then made the pre-made shapes too small for even a mini-muffin tin. And after it printed, she realized she was missing a few other key ingredients–like the power drill, ribbon, magnets… small details. After using the color ink, which is and can be expensive itself, she decided she needed to make it work!

She made an ADORABLE card!

Genius!!!

All she used craft-wise was a pair of scissors, some colored paper, and a glue stick. Little scraps of paper folded in half glue the circles and squares to the card so that he lifts the flap to read what you love about him. Super easy-peasy!!

Thank you Sarah!! We love to see creativity at its best!!

  1. For the third day in a row, thanks so much for the printables and the idea! Instead of a card or the muffin pan, I just made like mine a poster, and I’m going to use it to countdown to my husband’s birthday. He has loved every suggestion I’ve told him about and everything I’ve made so far!
