Lime Scooter is a newer company, but they have quickly become extremely popular! Why? Well for starters, scooters are eco-friendly, and they are an affordable way to get around town. They are also FUN!

Since Lime Scooter is becoming increasingly popular and available in several cities across the world, we thought this would be a great opportunity to do what we do best–create a brand new date for our readers! What is Lime Scooter?

Lime Scooters are battery powered rental scooters that help you get around town! Battery powered means less work for you, and it also helps you save gas! Talk about a win-win, right?! The scooters are available in several small and large cities around the US, and they are even available internationally (more on Lime Scooter locations in a bit)! And the best part? They are easy to use!

Before you plan your date, be sure to download the Lime Scooter app, available for Apple and Android phones. This will be your key to unlocking the scooter, so downloading the app is a must!

Additional Scooter Rental Information

The Lime Scooter price varies depending on your location. Don’t worry though, the app will give you all the details you need when it comes to pricing! However, this is what the Lime Scooter website states about the Lime Scooter price:

“Lime charges a fixed rate to unlock a vehicle and then per minute to ride. The current valid price for your location and time will be displayed in the app before you start your rent. If you want to reserve a vehicle before the rent, you will be charged a per minute started fee from when you press the reservation button until you unlock the reserved vehicle or cancel your reservation. Charges are rounded up to the nearest minute and rates and promotions may vary by location and time but will be specified in our app. Prices in the EU are inclusive of all taxes.”

One last thing to talk about in regards to your scooter rental: safety.

Lime highly suggests wearing a helmet for safety, as well as abiding by all traffic laws and rules of the road. Please be sure you don’t drink and ride. Also, respect pedestrians, and be considerate with your parking.

Date Night Printables

As always, we’ve provided some cute printables to pair with your date! First, you will need to print this darling invitation, and present it to your sweetie a few days before your date.

Once the day arrives, be sure to print this scavenger hunt. This is a BIG part of the date and will hopefully lead to some intimacy later in the day! You definitely don’t want to miss out on that! {Wink!}

What You’ll Need for Your Lime Scooter Date

Now that we have addressed the WHAT and HOW, as well as shown you the perfect printables, let’s scoot on over to the fun part: planning your Lime Scooter date!

The first thing you’ll want to plan out is everything you need. Your date could take a few hours, so these are the items we recommend:

• A backpack or bag
• Snacks (optional)
• Water bottles (optional)
• A pen or pencil
• Helmets (optional, but HIGHLY recommended)
• Scavenger hunt printable
• Your wallet
• Your phone
• The Lime Scooter app (both versions are linked above)
• Two Lime Scooters

That’s it! You’ll notice that your scavenger hunt printable mentions going inside a store at some point. This is why we recommend bringing a bag of some sort, especially since the item you choose at the store will be used later in the day!

City Scavenger Hunt

We did our best to assemble a scavenger hunt that would be fairly easy for most cities. If you find that the city you are exploring doesn’t have something on the list, just swap it for something similar!

Once you’ve rented your scooters, it’s time to start scooting! You and your spouse can either work as a team and complete the hunt together, or you can each do it on your own and race to see who finishes first. Just be sure to print two scavenger hunt pages if you decide to do it the second way!

The final item on the hunt list is a pharmacy/drug store. This is saved for last because you will be going inside the store! We figured that would be easier for the both of you. If your city doesn’t have a pharmacy or drug store, don’t fret! You can go into any store you’d like. Most cities have some sort of clothing store, book store, convenience store, and more.

Inside the store we want you and your spouse to separate and select one or two items each that you would like to use in the bedroom when you get home! You can either surprise each other once you get home or show each other what you bought once you leave the store. Need help coming up with ideas? We’ve got you!
