Gingerbread House Party Group Date
The Holidays are HERE!! This really is my favorite time of the year! Hot chocolate, holiday parties, gift giving, the nativity, and kissing the hubby under the mistletoe {yes, please!} – I love everything about Christmas time! Building gingerbread houses is one of our FAVORITE traditions that we do each year with friends and this year we’re helping you turn it into a party!
These printable are just the CUTEST!! I mean, seriously! Our fabulous designer Crystal of A Well Feathered Nest REALLY outdid herself with this one! Scroll down and you’ll see what I’m talking about!
Gingerbread House Invitations
See what I mean?!? I was so excited to put this little house together! I filled the inside with homemade cookies and took them to all of our friends. {You could even pack your house with these if you didn’t want to make a treat!} We took our kids and they ding-dong ditched {ring the doorbell and run away before the door opens} our Gingerbread House Invitation on each doorstep. There was adrenaline pumping after each sneaky delivery. Our friends LOVED this little surprise!
Gingerbread House Place Mats
When I was young we made gingerbread houses on small pieces of cardboard. Very functional, but not very pretty. We’ve designed little placemats for each guest to use with TWO different designs to choose from. Try laminating them so you can use them year after year!
Voting Ballots and Awards
What’s a party without some friendly competition?! Each couple decorates a gingerbread house together and has 30 minutes. After we are done, we put the houses on display and we each get to vote! We have three categories {most original, funniest creation, and best overall}. Our friends seriously look forward to this every year! Gather the votes and present each winning house with an award! A BIG award!! The couples really want to win! {spoiler ALERT!} This year I’m thinking about these cute gingerbread house ornaments.
No more waiting! Here you go…
We hope you have a wonderful Christmas gathered together with family and friends!
Merry Christmas!!
Cutest idea, EVER!
The invitations for this little party are so creative!! Love it!
