Once the night finally begins, battle it out to see who knows their Harry Potter characters the best for the chance to become a free elf!! Let’s test out your Harry Potter knowledge right now with a few of our favorite Harry Potter movie quotes. See if you can guess who says these 10 famous Harry Potter quotes?
- We must all make the choice between what is right and what is easy.
- I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.
- It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.
- I hope you’re pleased with yourselves. We could have all been killed – or worse, expelled!
- It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
- You’re a little scary sometimes, you know that? Brilliant… but scary!
- It is our choices, Harry that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.
- Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself.
- If you want to know what a man’s like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.
- I am what I am, an’ I’m not ashamed. ‘Never be ashamed,’ my ol’ dad used ter say, ‘there’s some who’ll hold it against you, but they’re not worth botherin’ with.’

I love this date idea! Thanks for sharing. One thing though (and this is coming from a diehard fan here): Madam Paddifoot’s is not in Diagon Alley. It’s in Hogsmeade Village.
Its a diadem not a crown, JUST SAYIN.
Saw this on Pinterest and love the idea! It appears the last link for all the printables is not working. Did you ever get it working so I can get the correct one?
Thanks for the help 🙂
Hi Molly- unfortunately I still haven’t been able to get a hold of the printables from Charlene. She had her computer re-done and had to see if they were on backup. I’m trying to get that figured out. I’ll for sure post when it’s all cleared up. Sorry about that!
one of the links early in the post, under the letter picture has the printable with all of the labels, people may just have missed it while reading.

I love this idea Charlene! Too cute. Love the wire sculptures and the book covers. What font did you use for all of your labels? Totally dig it girl.
This looks incredible, and since I have not seen or read ANY HP books or movies… I have no idea what any of it means… Looks like this date is for us!
This looks like such a fun date, Char! Nice work. Everything turned out super cute!
Seriously freaking good job! I am a HP fan too, and you made this so fun! Niiice.
That is just so well thought out and planned. I love it and bet that everyone had a wonderful time! Great job!
Great ideas! I can't wait for the movie to come out. I really am lost tho so i'm thinking a movie marathon is the perfect thing before we see the next two in theatre. I love all your decorations and the book covers you made are so darling and such an inexpensive way to create decorations. Thanks for all the ideas. 🙂
I love this, totally awesome!
What a cute Idea! My husband and I just celbrated our 6th wedding anniversary on Oct 29. My parents were out of town and couldn't take the kids for us that weekend, but they offered to take them Nov 19th down to their home 2 hours away and I will join them the follwing week since my son doesn't have school. Dan and I have already bought our tickets for Nov 20th to see Harry Potter #7 Part 1. I had read the first 4 books back in 2001 and then the others as they came out. My husband had never read the books, but we started reading them together after we were married and have had fun doing that. Thanks for the great ideas!
So much fun! I love everything about this date. My hubby and I always have a Harry Potter marathon when a new comes out, but this adds so much more to it! Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to try it!
