With these darling printables created by our super talented designer, Leslie from Nina Bean Designs you can have a place to keep all of those precious memories! Just fill the jar with your favorite memories throughout the year. Year Of Memories Jar

To start, get yourself a jar (I got mine at my local craft store – Hobby Lobby. Or you can use this one from Amazon, but really any glass jar will work) and add this cute “Year of Memories” label. I placed the printable inside of the jar and simply used scotch tape to attach it (high tech – I know!). We love printing through FedEx Office Online (use code CJN715 to get 15% off of ANY order, or to get 20% off of an order over $150, use code CJN721)

Then, do the same with this colorful calendar to fill the back side of your jar.

Place the jar (along with the pre-printed blank memory paper slips) in a central location in your home where all of your family members have easy access to it.

We have even included a beautiful printable envelope pouch so you can store the blank memory slips for easy access when you need them.

New Year's Eve Tradition Idea

Throughout the year you can fill out a memory paper with something special that happened (big or small) and add it to the jar. Then, as a New Year’s Eve tradition, you can open the jar and read all of the memories from the year. Save these steps on your Pinterest board!

  1. Love this idea! Too late for Christmas gifts though. I was actually looking for a New Year’s Day “happy” to make for the ladies in my Grief Share class on Wednesday nights. Our first meeting after the holidays will be January 3rd. I LOVE giving “happies”, and was so happy to stumble across this idea. I’m excited to see what 2018 holds (hopefully a much better year)! This is a great way to look back on the year and see your and your families blessings and memories!

    1. Patsy – I love what you are doing! I hope that the ladies in your group enjoy your thoughtful gift and can fill the jar with many happy memories this year! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love this idea. We started one yesterday and already added our first memory to the jar when we got home last night from seeing Star Wars as a family. It was one of those spontaneous let’s go do it dates. I’m excited to read everything that we did at the end of the year. So much happens and it’s so easy to forget some of the little things.
