In fact, this simple idea takes just a few minutes, but it is absolutely heavenly! A Twist on the 7 Minutes in Heaven Game

You may have heard of the game 7 Minutes in Heaven – you know, the popular party game played by teenagers where 2 people of the opposite sex go into a closet for 7 minutes to make out…  We don’t really encourage this game between teenagers, but making out with your spouse is completely acceptable!

This is a twist to make the game even more fun with your spouse! We took our reader Kathryn’s creative idea and joined with the talented Carisa from Messes to Memories to create these printables just for you!

2 Minutes in Heaven Prep

We’re calling our version of this game 2 Minutes in Heaven because you have 2 minutes in every round. This game requires very little prep! Start by inviting your spouse to a special evening for two with this heavenly digital invitation.

Yep! That’s right! Just download and text your spouse to let them know you have a special intimate game planned just for them.

To make this simple game of 2 Minutes in Heaven all come together, be sure to grab a great quality paper cutter and nice cardstock to prep these fun printables including the door hanger and the dice. Then just fill out the information and you are set!

Place this printable 2 Minutes in Heaven door hanger on the bedroom door for an added surprise! Once they enter heaven, the fun can begin…

Finally, set up your two lists (his & hers) of what numbers go with what piece of clothing. You can use our pre-filled 2 Minutes in Heaven printables, or we also have blank cards for you to personalize!

Make sure each of you are wearing the five pieces of clothing listed and you are ready to play!

How to Play 2 Minutes in Heaven

This is such an easy game to play! We’ve provided a few rules and guidelines for you below, but as with any bedroom game, feel free to set your own rules for your 2 Minutes in Heaven game!

1. One spouse starts first and rolls the die to see which piece of clothing the other spouse will remove first. Whatever number it lands on is the piece that is removed. The catch is that you can only take off that one piece! So if the die lands on the number for a bra and you still have your shirt on, then take your shirt off, then bra and then put your shirt back on.

2. Then the other spouse rolls the die to see which piece of clothing a spouse will take off. The same rules apply to both spouses and they can only take off one piece of clothing.

   

3. After both spouses roll and remove one piece of clothing, set the timer for two minutes of play time! Playtime includes kissing, touching, and anything else you want to do that does not involve actually making love. Be creative!

4. At the end of two minutes, all play MUST stop and both spouses get to roll again. If one spouse rolls a number that has already been played, then their turn is skipped and the next person rolls the die.

   

5. Continue play by rolling the die and have two minutes of play time after each set until no clothing is left to take off. When no more clothes are left, play one more set of two minutes and remember anything goes except making love. When the last two minutes are up, the game is over! Anything goes!!
