It’s Friday afternoon, you’re in line at the grocery store, and you realize you’ve got NOTHING planned for date night! Before you write off yet another weekend of alone time with your sweetheart, we partnered up with Texture to bring you this EASY {and delicious} date idea you just can’t pass up!
Some of my favorite recipes I’ve ever tried are from pages I’ve ripped out of magazines. You know, you see those gorgeous pictures and think I HAVE TO HAVE THAT!!! There’s just something about the pictures in food magazines that not only make me instantly hungry but make me think for some reason I can ACTUALLY make the food look that good {yea right!}. But despite many failed attempts, I’m ALWAYS looking through magazines for yummy new recipes to try.

Of course the kiddos would love a little fondue party, but what’s more romantic than fondue with your sweetheart??! And just like that, I had my date night in the bag! I saved the recipe to my “Recipe” collection and once I got home I got to work putting our date night together. {And the kiddos enjoyed leftovers in the morning. WINK!} All you need to make your own fondue set up is find a delicious DIY recipe of your own, use muffin tins {mine is ceramic} to hold all of your favorite dipping treats, grab some toothpicks, and that’s it!
And after I got everything put together, I was actually able to relax and scroll through some of my favorite magazine’s latest issues!
