St. Patrick’s Day Surprise
St. Patrick’s Day is such an easy holiday to celebrate. It’s low-key, but there are so many bright and fun word-plays you can use to tell your spouse you love them! Today, we’re sharing a quick and easy surprise that will have your sweetie feeling all sorts of lucky by telling them how lucky YOU feel to have them in your life!
“I’m Lucky to Have You” is one of the best things you can say to your spouse on March 17. Why not give them a whole pouch full of reasons why you feel lucky to have them in your life? Check out how easy {and adorable} this surprise is to put together!

I love how simple this project is! Simply print the bright and fun I’m So Lucky to Have You printables designed by Messes to Memories. You’ll have a pouch front and back that you’ll need to glue together and then 15 different card strips ready for you to work a little word magic on! (It really is easy, but if you want, you can save these pics as an example by pinning this post to make it easy to find again later!)

Once your pouch is set, write a few quick love notes and voila – a super special St. Patrick’s Day surprise to set out for your spouse! Seems pretty easy, right?
I’m Lucky to Have You because…
Sometimes writing a bunch of quick love notes can be tricky, so we decided to include a little inspiration card to help you get started thinking of some reasons you might want to include for your spouse! You can keep your notes pretty simple and even a bit sassy – in true Diva fashion we included a few sassy suggestions on our inspiration list.
In my opinion, St. Patrick’s Day has always been one of those just for fun holidays that is meant to put a smile on your face. I love taking these simple holidays and making them a bit more meaningful. If you don’t normally celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, this will definitely be a fun find for your spouse!
And if you do… well, this is just perfect for you!
When you’ve completed all your love notes, you’re ready to set up the St. Patrick’s Day Surprise pouch where your spouse will see it!
Go a step further and set up this pouch with some bright rainbow candy – think skittles or my hubby’s favorite {something sour} like Airhead Extremes. Those rainbow candies are always gobbled up in seconds around here.
Isn’t it so bright and festive?? Who wouldn’t love to get a sweet and thoughtful surprise like this?
This little pouch could be a great way to get your spouse in the mood for one of our fun St. Patrick’s Day date ideas – like this Feeling Lucky game!
There you have it… a lot of love for this St. Patrick’s Day! I am not only doing this for my spouse this year, but also my kids. They always love finding a sweet surprise too! 🙂
