Easy-As-Pie Independence Day Date Idea
Any holiday is a reason for a cute date, but we know that date night can be easy to forget with so much going on. We want you to be able to make a conscious effort to focus on your love while celebrating the land that we love! This is where the Last Minute 4th of July Date comes in. These super cute, super quick printables come with an invite, some fun gift tags, and a little water bottle decor. These are sure to make the 4th of July that much more special.

I want to start off by saying these ADORABLE printables were made by Amanda from A-Manda Creation! Go check out her site! You’ll be happy you did!
First step of this last minute date is making sure your spouse is in! 😉 Go ahead and print the cute invite and leave it somewhere your sweetie will see. This way, you can both understand that after a busy day of celebrating, you are going to have some one-on-one time.
Once you have the invite out, prep some water bottles with these adorable wrappers so you can stay hydrated in the heat! These bottle labels are super easy to attach using glue dots! They are super sticky so the labels won’t just fall off. If you want to add a little something extra, add some washi tape {just don’t rely on the washi tape all on its own}.
One of our favorite traditions is having sparklers and other little fireworks on the 4th. With this in mind, we created gift tags to go along with some of the 4th’s most common stars: sparklers, poppers, fountains (or other fireworks) and of course, a match or lighter to get them going.
We paired the printables with the long matches that are used to light fireplaces because they are just so cute! {And hey! No burned digits!} You could always attach them to regular size matches or a lighter. The Pop-its are a must at our house, so those were super easy to find, as were a couple sparklers. To attach the little gifts, we used our old friend, glue dots! For the longer matches and sparklers, it was also really easy to just punch a hole in the top and bottom of the tag and slide them through. We used a star punch {this one comes with a heart punch, too!} to be EXTRA festive.
Now you are ready! Meet up with the sweetie and enjoy some time alone with your fireworks! And if you want to make it a little more intimate… you could attach these cards to your favorite lubricant, some lingerie, and a baggy of ice for foreplay to set the mood. We’re gonna recommend you still prep the water bottles 😉
