Spin the Bottle Game
Spin the bottle is a classic! However, traditional Spin the Bottle wouldn’t be much fun with just two, so we put our own twist on it! We washed out a glass bottle and got to work! Carisa from Messes to Memories designed the perfect, eye-popping printables for you to create your own spin the bottle game at home!
Adult Spin the Bottle
This is a perfect, inexpensive way to spice up your night–and your marriage! So let’s get to it.
Things you will need to make a Spin the Bottle Board Game:
- Large poster board
- Clean glass bottle
- Spin the Bottle Printables
- Glue
- Pen for keeping score
Cut out the large “Spin the Bottle” circle and place it in the center of your poster board. Place the heart point values in a circle around the large inner circle. Pair each of the point values with an action slip. Pair the more spicy action slips with higher point values.
Spin the Bottle Rules
The point of the game is to win the most points. Either set a limit (example: 200 points) or a number of rounds (example: 5 rounds). Each action has a different point value (the more fun, enjoyable things= worth more points!) Earn points by taking turns spinning the bottle in the middle of the board and completing the action in the space that the bottle lands on.
Write wager you will do or give to your spouse if they win. Keep your wager secret until the end of the game (full body massage, all the dishes for a week, etc.)
Keep score as you take turns spinning and doing the actions it lands on. Don’t forget to cash in on your winnings, I hope your spouse wagered something really good!
I can’t wait to try this!!
Hi, I was wondering do you know what the diameter of the circle for the board that you cut out was? Thanks again for this fun game!!
Hi Cori! I wish I would have measured it, that would have been a great idea! Sorry about that!
The Game Board Area should be min. 30″ to 32″ in diameter. Just take a piece of string and measure from your elbow to the end of your finger then put one point of it in the in the center of the tabletop and rotate it around in a circle. Spread the cards around that circle.
PS: If you spin the bottle on a round plate placed in the middle of the circle, you’ll have far less “spin-off’s” of the bottle that disrupts the cards!
Great tips- thanks!

What do you mean by “Offer words of affirmation”?
Hi Sonia! Words of affirmation are just compliments or praise! About how attractive they are too you, something you appreciate that they do or one of the reasons you love them! xoxo
So the little hearts that have 50, 30, 20 & 10 printed on them. Do you get one of those little hearts when you’ve completed the space that your bottle landed on? So obviously you get the little heart that’s no. corresponds with the space you landed on? So it’s how you keep score?
Hi Gwen! When I played this, I glued each heart to a piece of the game board “pie” and then also wrote an action- example “makeout” for 30. So if you land on that space, you makeout, and then whoever spun the bottle gets 30 points on their score card. Whoever gets the most points after a certain number of spin rounds wins! But let’s be honest, you BOTH win 😉 Hope that helps!
Hi Gwen! You pair the printable heart numbers with each of the actions. When you spin the bottle and perform the action the bottle is pointing toward then you write down the number of points, as shown by the heart number paired with the action, on your scorecard! Hope that helps!
What are the numbers for?
Hi, Rudmilla! I believe you are referring to the points on each spot. Those are what you add up to earn the most points!
Will you share all your ideas for spin the bottle? What did you write on each of the sections?
Hey Meaghan! There is a small list of ideas within the post, and yep! Just fill out each section so if the bottle lands on it you are set! Have fun!!
