Spin the Bottle Game

Spin the bottle is a classic! However, traditional Spin the Bottle wouldn’t be much fun with just two, so we put our own twist on it! We washed out a glass bottle and got to work! Carisa from Messes to Memories designed the perfect, eye-popping printables for you to create your own spin the bottle game at home!

Spin the Bottle

Adult Spin the Bottle

This is a perfect, inexpensive way to spice up your night–and your marriage! So let’s get to it.

Things you will need to make a Spin the Bottle Board Game:

  1. Large poster board
  2. Clean glass bottle
  3. Spin the Bottle Printables
  4. Glue
  5. Pen for keeping score

Cut out the large “Spin the Bottle” circle and place it in the center of your poster board. Place the heart point values in a circle around the large inner circle. Pair each of the point values with an action slip. Pair the more spicy action slips with higher point values.

Spin the Bottle Rules

The point of the game is to win the most points. Either set a limit (example: 200 points) or a number of rounds (example: 5 rounds). Each action has a different point value (the more fun, enjoyable things= worth more points!) Earn points by taking turns spinning the bottle in the middle of the board and completing the action in the space that the bottle lands on.

Spin the Bottle Dare

Write wager you will do or give to your spouse if they win. Keep your wager secret until the end of the game (full body massage, all the dishes for a week, etc.)

Spin the Bottle Bet

Keep score as you take turns spinning and doing the actions it lands on. Don’t forget to cash in on your winnings, I hope your spouse wagered something really good!

The great loves of my life are my family, maple bars, and hand sanitizer. I’ve been married to my very own dreamboat of a soulmate for ten years. I think that there is nothing in the world that's better than laughing so hard you can barely breathe. In our family we have a policy of making that happen at least once a day.

  1. Hi, I was wondering do you know what the diameter of the circle for the board that you cut out was? Thanks again for this fun game!!

  2. Hi, thank you for sharing this great idea. i cant wait to try it with my hubby. i can only seem to find the download with the instructions and heart points on. i cant seem to find the printable for the wagers, scorecard or action words, please advise where i can find this download?

    thank you in advance

  3. i love this idea and cant wait to try it with my hubby.
the only download i seem to find is the instructions with the heart points. is there a sepereate download that i cant seem to find with the scorecard and wager cards and possibly some ideas pretyped (like in the images above) on?

    thanking you

  4. Hi! I see that the photos for this post have been updated! But the download is of the old version. Are there supposed to be new ones up? I’ve been dying to do this one but haven’t gotten to it yet. The new photos for this are super cute!

    1. Hi Sonia! Words of affirmation are just compliments or praise! About how attractive they are too you, something you appreciate that they do or one of the reasons you love them! xoxo

  5. So the little hearts that have 50, 30, 20 & 10 printed on them. Do you get one of those little hearts when you’ve completed the space that your bottle landed on? So obviously you get the little heart that’s no. corresponds with the space you landed on? So it’s how you keep score?

    1. Hi Gwen! When I played this, I glued each heart to a piece of the game board “pie” and then also wrote an action- example “makeout” for 30. So if you land on that space, you makeout, and then whoever spun the bottle gets 30 points on their score card. Whoever gets the most points after a certain number of spin rounds wins! But let’s be honest, you BOTH win 😉 Hope that helps!

    2. Hi Gwen! You pair the printable heart numbers with each of the actions. When you spin the bottle and perform the action the bottle is pointing toward then you write down the number of points, as shown by the heart number paired with the action, on your scorecard! Hope that helps!

    1. Hi, Rudmilla! I believe you are referring to the points on each spot. Those are what you add up to earn the most points!

    1. Hey Meaghan! There is a small list of ideas within the post, and yep! Just fill out each section so if the bottle lands on it you are set! Have fun!!

  6. SO FUN. Me and the hubs are newly married and so comfortable in each other’s skin so this looks like sosos much fun!

  7. Love this idea! Will be attempting to create this for my hubby ‘s birthday on Friday. Just wondered, it mentions a printable, but I can’t seem to find it – could you let me know if there is a printable somewhere please. Thanks 🙂

  8. This turned out SO cute!!! I actually never played “Spin the Bottle” as a youngster… looks like it’s never too late!

  9. Thanks for sharing the idea! I love games and I am defintiely adding this one into our box of bedroom games 😉
I just wanted to know, when do you use the chocolates? 🙂

    1. I made a space that said “Seductively feed me a Chocolate” or something like that. It was covered up in the picture! Oops! Thanks for asking 🙂
