Finally! Summer is just around the corner and that means it’s time to get out and do ALL the things you talked about all winter long! If you’re like me, then you just can’t wait for summer! You plan out all the activities you want to do but before you know it, school bells are ringing and you didn’t get around to any of it! We were not going to let that happen again and have found it really helps if we write our goals down – even if that goal is to eat a popsicle by the pool!

Grab our master list and your hubby and sit down for an evening of summer planning. Start off by each creating your own summer bucket lists. What is it that YOU want to accomplish?
My list this year looks a little like:
- Plant my garden
- Hit the beach
- Road trip
- Read a good book
The top of husband’s list?
- Go camping
- Visit a state park
- See a hot air balloon festival
- Hike

Summer Bucket List Ideas for Families and Couples
Once you’ve both created your own lists, share them and create one master summer bucket list – just for you two! And while you’re at it, create one for the whole family! What a great way to spend quality time with the kiddos while they’re off for the summer!
We love that this allows you and your spouse to set some fun summer goals as individuals, then as a couple, and finally as a family.
BUT, be sure to read the fine print; ACTIVITIES MUST BE ENJOYED BY AUGUST 31ST! (Ok that’s not set in stone, but the first day of Autumn is the 23 of September so… get started!)
As a friendly reminder, you can always place your summer bucket list ideas in a frame and use a dry erase marker to check off the activities as you’ve completed them!
