If you are looking for a hot date idea, this is it! Spice things up in the bedroom with our little
Bedroom Value Menu!
Materials:
1. The amazing value menu printables, created by the FABULOUS Sameeha at The Inked Leaf.
2. Blindfold and tasty treats (if selected by your spouse).
When the mood strikes, lay out the ADORABLE printable Value Menu on a tray with some accessories to give it the fast food feel! I used a tray, with some plastic silverware, napkins and a drink! Place it on the table or bed and have it ready and waiting for your spouse when they get home! When they see it, they will see what is really on the menu for the night! {wink wink}
If you can, prop up the menu up so it looks like a real fast food menu on a wall, they can see their romantic options better! 😆 Hand your hubby his McStud Muffin wallet, filled with $15 “spice bucks.” Make mention that each item, aside from two, extra spicy items, are just $1!! That means, his $15 can take him a lonnnng way OR he can have a couple of nights going to bed satisfied! {wink, wink}
If your hubby orders the blind taste test, use the fabulous ideas included in the Name that Treat post by Michelle!

I am madly in love with three men (1 big and 2 little)! I am lucky enough to be married to my true complement. I spend my days doing any and everything 'boy!' I have a passion for fitness and love trying anything that makes my heart race.
My husband sooooo loved this!!! I set up the menu on a plastic frame display and had a tray with different flavor ideas like cool whip and marshmellow fluff etc. I had a few sweet treats for later. I had candles (the battery ones that have different colors) set out . I wore an apron (like Kiss the cook) and a few sparing clothes in case of needing to take something off (wink wink). It was so much fun! He is looking forward to his next restaurant visit! LOL
Lysa!! That is so great! Thank you SO much for sharing your experience! It sounds like you had SO much fun, and I’m sure your husband IS excited for next time! HAHA 🙂 Nice job!
Hi Jennifer! At the bottom of the post there is a pink button that says “Click to download our” Bedroom Value Menu. Just click that pink box and it will open up the printable which you can download. 🙂 I hope that helps! XO
I love the value menu idea, but it seems to be geared toward a man’s tastes. How about a version I can give my wife? She always appreciates a good deal!
Thanks for reaching out to us! You’re right, this idea seems to be a little more geared towards men but MANY of our other ideas would work perfectly for either spouse. With this idea, you could use the menu and then use money of your own from maybe a Monopoly game! Enjoy!
I have a hard time getting my husband to reciprocate dates. So, I’m thinking I might “reward” my husband with the bucks when he sets them up. Hopefully, that will help motivate him?
Love this! My hubby will love it even more. 🙂 I do have a question about the “combo of any 2 favors – $3” Does that mean hubby can pick “Get busy – $5” and something else for only $3? And if it’s just meant to combine two of the other favors, why what’s the advantage of spending the $3 instead of $2 when “paying” for them separately? I may be missing something here, but I wanted to have the “rules” figured out before I present it to the hubby. 🙂
Thank you so much for this wonderful printable! My husband was in need of a new wallet which I bought for his birthday and this was such a cute, sexy idea to go along with it! He absolutly loved it!! I love your website and emails, so many fun ideas!
~New wife, married 3 1/2 months, so glad for all the encouragement on this website! <3
Hello! This idea is awesome!! I can’t wait to try it with my boyfriend.
I was thinking that you could use kisses, hugs,.. etc instead of money (to pay), and it would be funnier!
Oooh! Using the money as rewards for each section completed on our taxes… Then we will get to spend the money together on the menu once our efile is completed! Excited! Thanks for such a super idea!!
Thanks for the great idea! I bought my hubby his favorite box of $1 candy and attached a note for him to find in his car that said, “You deserve a break today! Enjoy this special DOLLAR treat and think about all the fun we’re going to have on our DOLLAR DATE! Join me tonight for a date that’s cheap on money but generous in fun and excitement! Can’t wait to see you tonight!” When he got home we went to McDonalds and I told him we were ordering off the value menu. He waited for the food, and I went to get our table. I had brought a battery operated candle and 2 plastic champagne glasses that I set up at our table. It was just a fun touch to let him know that we don’t need a lot of money for romance! After supper, we rented a redbox movie to enjoy at home (which I had a coupon for!) He loved the date even before we got home where he found the Spice At Just the Right Price Value Menu! We got out of the house and had a great night! The whole date cost $6.37! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for this printable! I am so excited to share with you how I used it to bless my husband. He had to come home early to tackle a bunch of office work, (which he hates!) so to surprise him I combined these printables with the idea from “to do list” from July 2012. I printed all the money and hid different amounts in envelopes marked with office work we both had to do (file paperwork, print invoices, clean his/her side of the desk, etc) Then we could both earn “money” for the tasks we completed in the office. Later we could cash in our money towards menu options (after the kids were in bed of course!). Needless to say office work was really fun and he loved it; the work went really fast and wasn’t draining for him like before! thanks so much for all the ideas…its so fun to be creative with my hubby!!!

Just wanted to say my husband loved this gift and we are still using the menu. The nice thing is he gives me the money and then I can order things too–like a massage!!! So it’s the gift that keeps giving. Thanks, it’s amazing.
P.S I forgot to mention that I wore a scarf in my hair to use as the eye cover up with the taste test. And other things! (wink wink)
That’s GENIUS! What a great idea! 😉

Wow, what a great idea! And what hubby won’t want to earn bucks for a sassy evening! 🙂

LOVE IT!!!!! 😉
This is such a cool, fun and romantic idea. I really like your value menu. I want to definitely try it out 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
What a great “spicy” idea! You are just too cute & so are your ideas!
Jessica – real money is a good idea too! Have fun!
This is such a fun way to “spice” it up. Even better because we have a “small metal box” savings fund, so we can use real money and add to our stash!
Wowee!! This IS a spicy one! Super creative Paige and Sameeha!!
What a fun, romantic twist on this familiar menu! Awesome printables, Sameeha!
love, love, love it. Just created my first private pinterest board for it! So important for a healthy, long lasting marriage!
