This toolkit was designed by the ever-talented Carisa of Messes to Memories. She’s a mom so she knows the boredom struggle well. She used the brightest colors to make this toolkit something your kiddos will love to see!
Fun Activities for Kids Box Decor
There are two different design sections: clouds in a BEAUTIFUL blue sky and black tools on a vibrant yellow background. Print out however many you want to use. I used one of each and made them work for the size of my box. We also have an adorable “Mom’s Summer Toolkit” label to use as well. Are any of these necessary? Not really but they are cute. And it might save your box from being tossed out with all the other Amazon boxes that seem to accumulate thanks to Prime…
Mom’s Summer Toolkit Categories
There are three categories to choose from. If you just need some fun activities for kids, turn to the Summer Activities envelope. There are 10 suggestions to keep everyone smiling during those summer days. Some take a little foresight, so read over them to make sure you are good for all activities. Of course, you can include your own ideas, we even have a few blanks if you want to make sure to color coordinate.
We also have an envelope of chores for kids. Use at your discretion. These could be incentives for a fun summer activity, or it can be for when they say they’re bored the 9th time that hour. Whatever you need, Mama!
And now. The envelope you’ve all been waiting for—EMERGENCY! 10 over-the-top fun activities for kids. Make your own ice cream, create an obstacle course, or maybe a slip-n-slide! Big activities that are sure to be a change from the norm.
Prepping Fun Activities for Kids
To put this all together just slice and glue. There are main labels for your three envelopes as well as the 10 ideas for each category. I didn’t want to be caught unaware, so I also prepped my box with some needed supplies. I grabbed some sidewalk chalk and a toddler-sized broom along with some other summer must-haves. This way you will have the needed supplies whenever the toolkit makes an appearance.
This looks SO FUN!!!!!! I can’t wait until Tasher is old enough for me to do stuff like this with him! xoxo
